Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Its up to the rest of the team for stevie to stay though, ok we are hit with injuries now, but when we have a fully fit squad without cisse, they need to start performing, he said it himself he will not stay if we dont qualify for europe or finish 30 points behind the top teams whom ever it maybe arsenal or chelsea.
I under no circumstances want him to go, look at the damage its caused us selling owen, we would be finished if he left, but if he wants to go its out of our hands and will be the rest of the teams fault if he does leave for poor performances.
Cant see him leaving in january anyway he would be no use to anyone cup tied if he wants to leave that is.
Also our manager promised him he will bring good players in and a different style of football will be played that he should just give it one more season to see inprovement, now out of the 3 new players only Xabi is world class, but we dont really have the cash to be buying any more world class players.
I know Cisse is injured and might never return I just feel he was not the right choice and Rafa could have bought 2, 7 million pound players instead.
Its up to the rest of this team to realise he will go, if we dont start competeing at the top.
One word passion and proud to be playing at our magnificent club its about time they realise this.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Jeez Lynds, for someone who is almost apologetic at times about venturing a measured view that is probably plum on the button. Totally agree with all of that, particularly the bit about the hapless and unfortunate Cisse.
