Stop slatting our new manager

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

This man has only been with us 6 weeks hes still learning english learning to know the players and learning about the prem and everyone learns from mistakes Benitez's first season at Valencia started off as a bit of a nightmare.
He was given a rough ride during his first few months and had to shoulder the blame when his side were thrown out of the King's Cup after his late tactical substitution meant they had exceeded the permitted number of non-European Union players on the pitch.

But he still managed to stamp his authority on what had been a difficult squad and guided them to a first league title in 31 years in 2002.
Ok we wont win the prem this season but might get 2 tropheys and have a good run in CL stop channeling all this negative energy into being angry put some positive energy in and everything will be ok it took Fergie 3 years he was gona get sacked on numerous occastions,  we the fans wanted a new manager we moaned and groaned that much until the board gave in and we got one.  Stop stop bleedin moanin give the new players an manager a chance to get to know what the deal is in england if after a year its no good then get back to the drawing board but I doubt it very much keep the faith ppl and if we loose again which we are bound to do and play poorly again which we are bound to do dont start all that booin ****** it wont do manager or players any good and there confidence will be even lower. You have to crawl before you walk and thats what we have to wait for weve waited long enough another year or 2 wont do us any harm if we finish this season in the top 3 its only 30th of august we have a long way to go till may 2005 It will become good ppl just have some faith
  :D

The thing was about that draw the mancs got was on another day they could have won that game 5-1 but for a cloned Brad Friedel in goal for them that day! Why their fans are being so critical when they are missing Ferdinand, Van Horseface etc is going a bit too far. Funny though :D

You'd be a fool to write off Taggart though even though some of his signings in the past two years have been just as good as GH's!! We would be more likely to see Bush and Bin Laden shake hands before Sir Add one more min on is sacked! :D

I reckon Benitez needs time to make Liverpool contenders again and hopefully he'll do the business but just a thought....

Sam Allardyce is a fantastic manager.  English football has become obsessed with foreign coaches.  Hopefully Benitez will do the business for us, but theres alot to be said for having an english boss who grew up with the english game and knows the english game inside out.  Allardyce knew exactly the tactics required to get a result against us yesterday.

I reckon if Freddie Shepherd has any sense he should resist the calls for Shearer to become manager and give the Newcastle job to Allardyce.

As much as i dislike Newcastle i wouldnt wish Terry Venables on them and i hear there is talk about him and Shearer in a joint management. Good point though Sean, if Shepherd has any sense he would look to Big Sam for that job.

They better tell adidas to make bigger short sizes if O'Neil is to take over at Newcastle. Celtic are top of the league in the fat a**e stakes!

there's no way martin o neill would leave guaranteed success and champions league football for newcastle. celtic are a bigger club than newcastle anyway. i hate to admit it but i think there's only one job that would interest him in england and it happens to be down the m6. :(

i think they should go for howard wilkinson. he's got more badges than anybody! :D

i know he's an ex player but what has he ever won as a manager? surely a club of man u's size and wealth would want a manager with a proven track record. before brum, bruce couldn't stay at a club for more than five minutes.
