the CPS looked at the case and have said he has done something wrong under the law.

"A person claiming self-defense must prove at trial that the self-defense was justified. Generally a person may use reasonable force when it appears reasonably necessary to prevent an impending injury. A person using force in self-defense should use only so much force as is required to repel the attack. Nondeadly force can be used to repel either a nondeadly attack or a deadly attack. Deadly Force may be used to fend off an attacker who is using deadly force but may not be used to repel an attacker who is not using deadly force. "

he hit him 3 times after he had already been hit and that is why it will not come under the Self Defence law.

Thank f'uck you're nowhere near a court room  :buttrock

dont know if it would be worth it for one game.

espanyol in spain is less than a week away, it might make more sense to give him a good run out in that one

Steven Gerrard found not guilty of affray by a jury at Liverpool Crown Court

pmsl, must have had a lot of Liverpool fans in that court room.

the police are going mad, they feel that it gives everyone the right to puch someone and then ask questions later.

:D :D :D

i am over the moon about this.....................pmsl, just shows how bad our courts are.

right on that note i am off to take my daughter to our friends for a few ours as my wife has gone to london with his wife for the day.......he is in CID in the Met, i will ask him what he thinks about this case lol........he is a west ham fan lol

In all fairness though the verdict is a disgrace. This now means that it is acceptable to play Phil Collins in a public place. :D
