Stevey gerrard.... - Bit of info for you

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby 115-1073096938 » Wed Mar 03, 2004 2:42 am

"He used to turn up for training in an Everton kit so all this talk of him supporting Liverpool all his life is bullsh#t".

Was in the pub on sunday night and "Skip" (Manager of Whiston Juniors FC) said those exact words while we where having a conversation about one of our lads and players who have made it as pro's from our club.

Also... Anthony Gerrard, Steve's Younger cousin playing for Everton. He's suposed to be better than Steven at the same age. Worth keeping an eye on.

If he's playing for everton then I can't see us getting him cheap or in a hurry (if at all)
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

i actually quite rate david moyes as a manager after what he achieved last season. i still hate everton though. rooney is an overrated fat sh#t anyway. he can't even get in their team so how the hell he starts for england is beyond me.

I think he's a great player, too good for Everton.  They only allow sh##e players in their team anyway thats why he doesn't always get a game.

I agree about Moyes too, i'm from Preston and all the North Enders were gutted when he left!

You are having a laugh?

Rooney overated?

No sorry. He's one of the hottest prospects in world football. In a few years he will be a world class player. Reminds me ALOT of Francesco Totti only with a bit more pace.

well.. we have Arsenal and Real Marid as clear examples as to how football should be played..... :) Not so much crossing for strikers to head rite?

Haha. Yeah.

every team has players with there technical ability and pace. Get real!! (no pun intended)

You play to your strengths and ours isn't... never has been... and never will be technical ability.

We need a striker who can win a header when we're under pressure and win flick ons, we need a striker who can score headers from crosses.

Cisse is the man.

Also try telling Alan Shearer that you shouldn't put crosses into the box... Robbie Fowler... van Nistlerooy... all the great goalscorers.

Rooney is over rated and over hyped , id look good playing for Everton .As for Moyes being a good manager , your avin a laugh .He makes GH look like Sir Alf Ramsey . Moyes has only one aim to finish above the bottom 3 , thats progress at Everton . Shi-te club , shi-te manager . However bad Liverpool may play they can never be that bad . Makes one feel better .
