All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

Who cares what people outside the club think? :censored: me dont feel sorry for Kenny too much the man is a GOD to Liverpool. I dont think theirs a Liverpool suporter on the planet who would have a bad thing to say about him. What is it with Scots and Liverpool that just clicks?

Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group are believed to have opened talks with assistant manager Steve Clarke over a new Anfield deal according to The Guardian.

The Reds number two is ready to commit his long-term future to Liverpool by signing a three-and-a-half year contract, just over three months after joining the club.

Clarke was drafted in by interim manager Kenny Dalglish, to work as his right hand man, only a day after Liverpool's prodigal son made a sensational return to Anfield in January.

The impact 'King' Kenny and his backroom team have had on rejuvenating Liverpool's season has been seismic – with Manchester United the only team to have collected more points in the Barclays Premier League since their arrival.

A considerable upturn in form has incited calls for both Dalglish and Clarke to be appointed on a full-time basis, with these latest developments looking to be a step in the right direction.
