Warnock is third choice full back at Liverpool and failed to hold down a place under Houllier or Benitez. If he was that good he would be in most weeks.

I would not have thought that Wigan would take Liverpools 3rd choice full back to replace the very promising Baines who is one of the most sought after young players in the league.

I would hazard a guess that if you asked any manager in the league to choose between taking Baines or Warnock you would be lucky to find one choosing Warnock.

:censored:.
Firstly, he would be in most weeks if goodenough?  :D  We have John Arne Riise you tool, think that why hes not in most weeks? Similarly look at Wayne Bridge at Chelsea.

Maybe Wigan wont, or maybe they realise that, in the current climate of english players being over rated after a few decent matches or a goal here or there, they coyld afford to sell Baines to Spurs or some other club with more money than sense. Then bring in Warnock for a slice of that money.

Thats a load of :censored:, and as you say, Warnocks not in many games, Baines IS therefore he will get more coverage.

so what! warnock will never be good enough for us. wcich says somthing when we are looking at the likes of lucas neil as a re-placement in the reserve team! there has been plenty of players over the years who haven"t made the grade,at the stage of his career warnock should just accept he isn"t good enough for LFC & move on.

I wasn't implying I wanted Warnock to stay.

I was saying I don't want Neill to join.

Warnock has the might of Riise and the second best full back in the league Aurelio to get past it seems. My apologies for the oversight there. Heck no wonder the lads struggling for a place against those galacticos.

To compare Bridges chances of game with Warnocks is quite something given he has Cole to compete with. If anyone genuinely believes we have a full back in the class of Cole then the red tinted glasses are glued on.

I never said our 1st choice full back was at Cole's level, I meant that Bridge doesnt get a regular game because he is competing with quality - Just like Warnock is. By this i was arguing that it doent make warnock :censored: because he doesnt start - unlike whichever pleb said it does.

Also, Ashley Cole is very over rated. Typical hype up english lads mentality.

He's in Blackburn now undergoing a medical. Can't see any complications there.

Good Luck to him, I like him, he is wiliing to run through brick walls and you need players like that in the team.

Good Luck Steven. :)
