KARMANI wrote:According to Dutch newspaper 'de Telegraaf' Liverpool are interested in signing Boudewijn Zenden, better known as Bolo.

He is out of contract at Middlesbrough and yet to agree a new deal and if the reports are true, Liverpool already have had contact with the player.

Negotiations will continue next week, when the player returns from holiday. Zenden neither wished to confirm or deny the rumours.

The same newspaper also claims Feyenoord are trying to sign Vignal from the Reds

I've been quite impressed by what I've seen from this player . Could be a good signing for us . Ability aside ,he doesn't need time to adjust to the premiership and if he's out of contract with 'Boro should come at a good price.

West Brom set to make Liverpool loan swoop.

Bryan Robson will explore the possibility of signing goalkeeper Chris Kirkland on a season-long loan.

Kirkland has been hit by a number of injuries since joining Liverpool from Coventry City in 2001 and with Anfield boss Rafael Benitez set to sign a new number one this summer, may allow Kirkland out on loan to get some first team games under his belt.

Baggies boss Robson expressed some concern about the form of Russell Hoult during the season just ended and although number two Tomasz Kuszczak performed well when needed, Kirkland would provide extra competition for the 'keeper's jersey.

I don't think we should dump Kirkland just yet.  A loan move to West Brom would be a good option.

The ones we have been linked with are
Riena of Villiarel
Miltio of Real Zagaoza
Rogue of 2nd division side llies
And i think we should get Figo he has just been releaased and would do good for a year then sell him.

A season long loan where Kirkland would get first team football in the Premiership would be perfect, since Rafa is bringing in a new number 1.

I still have a lot of faith in the guy, if he can play regulary next season in the Premiership and they pay his wages then maybe that would be better than just selling him.

I would say that of all the rumours, the moves for Van Kuyt, Millito and Reina have the most flesh to them.

It seems as though the Zenden rumour is true. Teletext have an apparnet exclusive in which they say that he is holding talks with us.

Zenden burst on the scene and looked awesome but lost his way a bit.  He could still be a great signing if he could be managed and our boss is

Figo. I am amazed at the dont want him brigade, are these the same people who hate beinh linked with your typical Spurs/Villa type players.  The only rumour here is that he is available and lets take it as a compliment that there is tenuous links to us as there wouldnt have been last season.

And if wages/manage his expectations etc are right Id take him.  Or alternatively keep Cheyrou and Diouff instead.  The guy is genuine world class and has about two seasons left.  And it Everton fans would need more than mobile phones to throw at him to beat Barac fans  :D

What's the word on the Stelios and SWP transfers? Any news of Shaun looking for houses in Liverpool or Stelios taking advantage of some "beginners spanish" night courses? Also, seeing as his name has been on our lips for so long, this stuff about Ballack leaving Bayern wouldn't have anything to do with LFC would it? I thought it was his agent trying to up his salary, but has anyone else heard anything?

P.s. Best rumour so far has to be the one about Kaka signing for £16m. It lasted for about an hour and then everyone realised how stupid it was. All I had to say to that one was "I wish"!

I must say I do like the logic of loaning Kirkland out.

Theoretically, you'd think we'd be able to get a good price for Dudek at this particular moment in time. So, with Reina almost certain to come in backed by Carson, loaning Chris out to a team that aren't in European competition (so we can recall him without him being cup-tied) would make perfect sense.
