news wires are saying that SFX were in talks with liverpool fc till 3am, Owen is to meet liverpool again today,news wire said last night that owen was not happy with the first offer liverpool made him, that is why they told him to talk to the toons

I am far more confident now that, with Owen having met Benitez, we put an offer in for Michael. Ok it might not be anywhere near that of Newcastles but I think we hold a couple of aces in the whole thing - Owen wants to come home and Real owe us £4m from last years transfer.

You have to admire Newcastles efforts though - 5 hours meeting involving 5/6 people...
