Hargreves is good he gets back and helps plus he has good build like Heskey but faster he has good footwork i don't know about his first touch though.I would get him for a year if playin sell him 2.7 mil.(If we could do that

If we were to have a total clear out this summer and needed a couple of squad players then I'd sign either of the above for about 2 mil and no more.  But I don't think there will be as many leaving as people think

Our squad is full of 'squad players', we need to bring in quality that will improve on what we already have.  Crouch wouldn't get in the starting lineup ahead of cisse/morientes/baros (if he stays) and hargreaves won't start with gerrard and alonso fit.

We need to be thinking of players like vicente, joaquin or SWP.  Our weakness is creativity out wide so that has to be the priority to strengthen (and also a reliable keeper)

Anybody got an opinion on Valencia's Mohommed Sissoko ? , I don't know the guy but apparently Rafa signed him for Valencia and Sissoko's agent says Rafa has been tracking him (sky sports) .

I cannot tell you much about this player because he has not played in the whole season. If we are aiming at a player who is a substitute of the 7th. team in Spain this year, I don't think we will improve much the Josemis, Nuñez etc. that we have at the moment. Forget about Sisoko and let's get Vicente or Joaquín. Those are class players, not Sisoko.

Hargreaves rescently said that he might leave Bayern Munich as he hasn't played much and that he's looking forward to a new challenge. I wouldn't be surprised if we bought him, 2.5 million would be an absolute gem of a deal.

Two different types of player, Hargreeves is more like Stevie or Lampard in style and there aren't many better than those two around

2.5 million ?  for a good utility player   who can play anywhere in midfield ,only 24  and an England international  and people are saying no ? .......its probably one of the best buys  in terms of buisness  for ages .
If Hargreaves was already playing in the Premier he would cost at least 7 million simply because of the reasons  i and a few of the  fella ' s already mentioned.
Some have touted Scott Parker  ,he has hardly played a game all season , plays central midfield  only  yet is valued at 5 to 6 million !  reason why is because he plays in the Premier........to get Hargreaves at that price is a steal , plus remember how much was payed out for Dio !!!

ok agreed hargreaves is not a bad signing at 2.5 mil.  But is he gonna actually improve our staring line-up?  the answer is no because he will be on the bench when gerrard and xabi are fit.

At the moment we need to get rid of 'squad players', not bring them in.  If we lose hamann and biscan then yeah, take him for 2.5 as back-up.  If hamann stays we dont need him

Even if Hamann stays I'd get him. We need for CM players and I think he'd be ane excellent squad player for us. Bag's of CL experience with one of the top teams in Europre, 24yo, £2.5mil..... that is damn good business and Stevie and Xabi aren't gonna play every game next season. Rafa likes his squad rotation and I think Hargreaves is ideal, especially taking into mind the new UEFA rules coming in

Yeah i agree with simic_ie becos if stevie or xabi gets injured(lets hope not)he and Hamman would be backup(hamman gets a game alredy i know)and only 2.5 i would get him.And then he wud get more chance in internationals(bags of champleague experience as simic_ie sed)

is it just me? or does anyone else favour Nigel Quashie to sign for Liverpool? It wont worth more then 2 million i suppose, Soton just relegated.
