I think so far so good. Hes doing quite a job behind the scenes, and he keeps things quiet, which i like. I think hes capable of winning the PL, but we have to give him time and hes certainly made a good start.

I think it is the kick up the ****** some players needed, the boot out the door others needed and it will freshen things up.

I also think using Pink as your text colour is a big mistake buddy.

Yes, so far so good.  He seems to be a tougher manager, capable of making tough decisions - selling MO.  I think GH would have held out hoping he would re-sign, and then lost him on the Bosman.

He certainly has destinguished the sh1t from the quality, and hopefully he countinues to weed out ******.

His ideas are good, already the team's passing accuracy and 1st touch control is better  (well in the fist have against Spurs neway!!).

Hopefullly the new signing will continue and strengthen the team.  I look forward to seeing Kewell-Alonso-Gerrard-Nunez partnership!  And maybe Baros' first touch control will improve.

Here's to the new season, and the 70/80's style domination of the EPL! :grinning:

im verry happy with benetez i think he has done a great job since he has come, he has brought down the wage bill, by releasing the players he did not want, he has brought in some verry good players, with not much funds, dont be shocked if 2 more players are sold, expect a bid for mista within 7 days.

Rafa is an accomplished manager who has won one of the hardest league in the world,SPL. I dun doubt his credentials and certainly hope he can inject some of the championship winning metality into our players. And given time, he will be able to clean up the sqaud and bring in world-class players in.

Mayb next season ( After LFC wins Champ Lge and FA Cup), he bring in vicente  and mayb Raul :p .

The future is bright with Rafa at the helm

I think it was sound decision and one which will provide in the long term a successful dynasty though there may be a bit of short term pain to accept for it.
I certainly think it will end up being one of the our best signings

Liverpool signed the best manager worldwide.

They dont just give you league titles in Spain, where the cards (and referees) are stacked in Madrid's favor.

He didnt have the biggest budget at Valencia, but he got the very best out of the players he had.

I've not been this excited since Kenny was appointed player manager

It's a bit strong to call him the best manager worldwide, although his record would put him towards the top of most peoples lists. I think we have got ourselves a top top manager and feel that we will catch up with Arsenal & Man Utd over the next couple of seasons.

My only slight concern is the amount of foreign players we're being linked with, i wouldn't want a side with no English players. Rafa is not upto speed with English players yet but he'll learn about them this season and hopefully we will be able to retain a strong English core to the side.

If he's not one of the best manager in Europe, than can you mention four of them? If you don't include him, it's a surprise to me.

Raul?? Raul is horrible!! we hate him and he only plays with national team because he plays in Real Madrid and press suck his dick.

There are 30 spanish players better than Raul.
