Oh well. I certainly won't lose sleep over it if he does go.

He's an ok player who excels at 2 or 3 things, but is absolutely sh*t at the other skills a top midfielder requires, none more so than passing.

He's a player suited to playing Barcelona, Arsenal, and such as Real Madrid.

Against a team we're pressing, he's about as much use as a wet fart in a coulinder.

Momo was a good player before that horror injury, but hasn't been the same since. Wonder whether he came back too soon, it did seem a rapid recovery from a real nasty incident. He's never been a great passer/user of the ball, but as a 'destroyer of opponents play' he used to excel, unfortunately I'm not sure we need that kinda player when there are better all round solutions at hand.

I don't believe he's gone t1ts up all of a sudden, I just think his confidence is so low he struggles to get his basics right and thats droppin us into problems too often. I aint gonna say good riddance if he goes, I really thought he had a future with us after his first coupla games, but by the same token I won't be too sad to see his name off the team sheet after January!

Good luck Momo, appreciate what you did for us, but this aint no family based kickabout son

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

Great tracking back, rubbish going forward. What would you prefer?

We have enough quality that we wouldn't miss him. Pity though, cos I like his attitude. But if you're not good enough, you're not good enough eh?

We need to cash in, Juve is interested, but his current form isn't making it easy for a sale let alone a starting berth in Europe's premier competition.

I like hime and will be happy if he stays but if he's not happy and we get money then I will also be happy with that.  He can be immense but can also be ahem not so immense.

I will however always remember him fondly whatever he decides or is decided for him

I completely agree. I think Sissoko is at the bottom of the pecking order right now. Unless he makes a dramatic turn around...actually, nevermind..let's just say goodbye.

Yer me too.  I agree with everything you said and id also like to add that the young lad in the reserves Damien Plessis looks a great prospect.  From watching a few reserve games this season he has gone from strength to strengh and he has reminded me of Sissoko before his eye injury, breaking up play and picking a pass (even if it is just a simple 5 yard ball).  If he continues to develop at the rate he is now it wont be long untill he is in the first time squad imho.  As for sissoko, if he is unhappy get rid, atm he is our 5th choice CM and with lucas getting better all the time and it looking like Mascherano is going to stay it looks like he is going to stay there.  As for 16 million though, we'd be lucky to get 6 million the way he has been playing.  There is no way he can honestly believe he deserves to be playing in the 1st team atm  ???

if sissoko wants out because he wants to play more games then let him go. no hard feelings. he had 2 good seasons with us and won us some vital games.

his tackling is top class but honestly, Masherano plays easy passes and Momo tries to storm up the pitch and play a long pass which rarely pays off and leaves us exposed, so really his tackles are kind of negating his give aways, thus leaving us at zero impact, if we have to decide between the two, then we should be dropping momo in Januarary.

To be honest, if he's genuinely made comments like that, then like it or not his days are numbered. Other than Gerrard with his outrageous turnaround, I can't remember the last time a player kicked up a fuss and didn't end up elsewhere during the next available window.

For me, he looks like he's got phenomenal potential. The thing is though, we were saying that a couple of seasons ago, and he's simply not kicked on.

I've said it before and it still holds true for me - he's the midfield equivalent of Djimi Traore. Great speed, some phenomenal tackling, but at the same time incredibly reckless, poor awareness, and horrendously unpredictable passing. I still think Rafa rates him enough to hang on, but like others have said, it's a bit of a too-many-cooks situation in central midfield these days, and if it comes down to a choice of Lucas or Momo as the junior member of that particular area of the squad, it's the Brazilian all day long for me.

I think the eye injury topped him off, after that his already poor vision just didn't seem to ever get back to full use. I am not happy about potentially not seeing momo, but the thought that he would play in front of potentially Gerrard, Mascherano, Alonso or Lucas regularly isn't appealing and I think he needs alot of games to get back to 100%

he also tends to 'poke at the ball' with his toe when passing under pressure instead of using his side.
