What with all this talk of both Momo and Xabi being linked with other clubs, I was trying to think about: If I had to lose one, who would be the easiest to part with?
Momo has the tackling, but Xabi has the passing. Who would better compliment Stevie? So, you choose. Sissoko to Juve, or Alonso to Barca: Which one is easier to live with?
I just can't choose...

:)

I've voted Alonso. Won't explain the vote because I've posted about that enough this weeks.

Momo gives the ball away far too much, thats why he has to take so much as he's always winning the ball back, Alonso is a far more intelligent player and has more of an impact on a game, problem is that Xabi hasn't had the best of seasons :(

I've voted Alonso

Too right Paul, Momo gives the ball away far too easily and often, the figure related to sissoko and Juve was 12mil in one tabloid, i'd take that.

Depends on the amount we would get. I would rather take £12million for Sissoko than £20million for Alonso, but if it meant we got Eto'o I would sell Alonso.

I voted Xabi of course... but I'm afraid the problem is much more complicated  :Oo:. The next weeks will tell us the answer! Can't wait!

Hey everybody. If it was Sissoko and Gerrard in the centre that would give Gerrard more freedom to rampage like we know he can whilst not having to worry about defending because Sissoko would be behind him.

Gotta agree though Sissoko gives the ball away far too often and isnt the greatest passer. I'd keep em both but if I had to choose i'd keep Sissoko.

Controversial, someone's going to slate you no doubt.

I like Sissoko very much, but If I had to choose - not that I like the idea - Alonso would stay because he is a more complete player.

Nevertheless, I would hate to see Sissoko leave because I believe he has attributes that we will need at some stage next season.

The poll is badly set up, as we see people are voting for who they would be happiest to lose, and who they want to keep in the same thread.

Would hate to lose Alonso right now, we dont have anyone who can do what he does.

Sissoko is improved upon by Javier in my humble opinion.

Out of the two I would get rid of Sissoko. His passing is shocking at times, not helped by his poor vision. Plus he doesn't offer us any goals unlike Alonso. I would, however, prefer to keep them both as they each offer something different.

I would keep alonso and sell sissoko and i think will do just that. Sissoko is the rawest footballer in europe, gives the ball away a lot and adds nothing going forward. Alonso is class on the ball, rarely gives it away and can influence the game a lot more than sissoko. Although alonso's form has been poor this season by his own standards he is still world class and we should keep him. Mascherano's arrival has also reduced the need for sissoko.
Steve Gerrard Gerrard,
He'll pass the ball 40 yards,
He's quick and he's f*cking hard,
Steve Gerrard Gerrard.
