Sorry, but this isn't a rumour.  Heard from two sources that its a done deal  and Simao is a Liverpool player.  A fee has been agreed but Benfica and Liverpool are now just sorting out the payments details.  it's going to be around 8-10 million, with the fee varying on apparences and other performance related stuff.

i'm just saying what i've heard from friends who work for the press and closer.  If it's wrong, i'll put my hands up and admit it....but i've been told that it's a done deal.

Well the fact Benfica have just bought two wingers suggest there is some truth in what he says..

On the contrary Benfica president Viera publicly said that even though they had signed Robert, Simao is still not going anywhere.

Ill be quite happy if is true. I wasnt expecting Joquin anyway. Hes not been playing anywhere near his best this or last season and subsequently he has been replaced with Garcia in the national squad. Simao is a very skillful and experienced full international player who knows where the net is, can cross well and adds a good physical presence to the squad. The only problem is that ive heard he tends to brig attitude with him which is why he was booted out of the Camp Nou. Those could just be rubbish rumours. Come on Kewell...its not nice to keep secrets, where did you read this and dont say another forum.
