There is a lot of 'Blind Faith' flowing around these discussion pages. Don't let your loyalty and support blind you to what is going on. We have been in desparate need of a striker since the start of the season, the loss of Cisse and now Baros has only exacerbated an already poor situation.
If the management were really serious about addressing the situation a star striker would have been lined up and signed on the 1st of Jan. Instead we are poncing around trying to buy 28yr old Morientes on the cheap, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man U, must be laughing their socks off.
Even Everton, managed to get out of the starting blocks and sign Beattie, while we are left trying to justify the importance of the signing of a 33yr old defender.
We now desparately need a playmaker with the loss of Alonso, let's see what happens here !!
Parry and Co, have run out of money and need to act fast to raise some finance to take this great club forward. We are not looking very clever at the moment.
Ok 25 days to go, but I am not holding my breath.
