Should we move stadium?yes or no.I personally think so.If we move stadium to a bigger one we would have more money to spend on players and the atmosphere would be greater than it is already. So imagine it singin YOULL NEVER WALK ALONE or LIVERPOOL even louder than it is.But on the other hand at Anfield we've got the shankly gates and shankly memorial statue and Anfield would lose reputation so it's yes and no,should we move stadium question you decide?
Ideally I would like to see Anfield expanded and modernised, but apparently its not possible. Anfield is such a special place that it would and will break my heart the day we move.
Side note, how much would the capacity increase if we filled the corners in - roughly?
I think we should stay, and the whingers stopping us from expanding Anfield should remember that the stadium has been there longer than they have. It's like someone moving into a flat above a nightclub, then complaining to environmental health about the noise! Utter stupidity. You can bet your fried breakfast they are all toffee-munchers. Up the 'pool!
Not much. Probably about 2000, but ight increase by about 5-10,000. (Thats combined though, obviously!) Won't happen, though. We will have a new stadium, but they'd better take the Shankley gates, statue and the eternal flame with them!
[QUOTESide note, how much would the capacity increase if we filled the corners in - roughly]about 67,000 i think but it would bring better players in the team
We should move but I think we should keep the name as Anfield even though other clubs are making alot of money such as Arsenal with their new Emirates Stadium. We should keep the stand the Kop and Anfield Road as the same name and the other two should be named after Crazeyhorse and King Kenny.
but they'd better take the Shankley gates, statue and the eternal flame with them!
How could we leave them behind.
Also there will be more season ticket holders and those people that go to european games and generate a huge atmosphere will create that atomosphere.
