Just dont get it, An before you say anything NO im not stalking you

You are boring me...seriously. Mourinho praised our team...and i am just paying him my respect...whats wrong with that ?

Why don't you get down from your high horse.... You criticize keane...you criticize babel. Then when someone else says something about benitez (or alonso) you act all so holy and lecture them

eg....Todays match....all i said were alonso and skertel were to be blamed for conceding the ever$hit goal...and then you have another go at me ? you are not objective at all...

Listen....you have the right to praise or criticize anybody....similarly...the other members of this forum have that right too.

you notice...i tend to keep away from your postings unless they are directed at me..... so.......  get off my back...

I mean this is the 2nd time today.... and it is starting to pi$$ me off...

Here's a revolutionary idea for the replay, what about someone actually man marking Cahill at ALL set pieces!

When growing up most kids my age 2nd teams were either the Reds or the Blues:p (usually the strange people) due to the winning factor and the strong Scottish connections of both clubs. The game today wasn't won AGAIN today because of that stupid zonal marking at set pieces, wrong tactics and wrong personel. Liverpool should be playing 2 up against any team in the world home or away.

I know Rafa has pretty much 100% backing of the supporters but looking in from the outside this man's tactics and signing policies are severely holding the club back. Speaking to people i work with and socialise with we all pretty much feel Rafa's signings and treatment of certain players is questionable to say the least. The signings of Arbeloa, Dossena, Lucas, Josemi and Pennant to name but a few aren't good enough to be anywhere near Anfield never mind the money he paid for these players, also paying somewhere in the region of £16 million for a striker he now plays as a wide midfielder. His treatment of Keane and Alonso (trying his damdest to get rid of him for Barry) is harsh to say the least.

The league was there for the taking this year and Rafa's negativity is holding us back.

Every teams in the English Premier league and Spanish League use the zonal marking defence.

Modern football = zonal marking defence in the corners.

Stick to watching the SPL.

Totally agree with all said by Pablo, I for my sins work in Manchester so have to argue football every day and to be honest it is becoming impossible to defend Rafa, and most MUFC supporters just see him as a joke now.

And this shames you, why? Again I'll draw up the old "Fergie took 6 years to win anything" statement. I'm sure there were quiet a few Scousers and LFC supporters in general that saw him as "a joke" back in the day also. It took them 26 years to recapture the title. Is that a joke too? Better still, it took Benitez 4 seasons to do in Europe what Ferguson could only manage in a mere 20 seasons or there abouts. Yeah, Rafa is a hard nut to defend alright.

Modern football or not, it's simply not working. As for Rafa how long do you give him then Emerald Red or has he achieved enough already to justify staying long term because lets be honest he's never been near winning the big prize which is the Premeirship

Yeah no where near what so ever, we are so far off the league pace at the mo we might as well hand it to the mancs now.

I just don't believe the defeatist attitude of people on here it's as if you all enjoy it when we are not playing too well(was going to say getting beat but oh that's right we have been beat once all season, twice if you involve the joke cup)Do me a favour if there are any real liverpool supporters on here get behind the team instead of the constant :censored: you throw at them cos it is beginning to :censored: me off!!!

No i could understand it if we were off the pace like in past years with the s h  i t  e of the houllier regime were frustrating us,but we do have some top quality players and alright there is still players that are not up to the job(which i won't name but are so obvious cough Dirk Kuyt)but this is our best chance in years and we are nearly in February and whens the last time we could say that?

It amazes me that in the poll just after Xmas that the majority and a big majority of use said we are good enough to win the league and now the majority on here are saying we arn't so there is plenty of fickle supporters out there.

I'm saying I couldn't give one flying ounce of f*ck what other supporters of other teams think of my team and the manager of my team. I'm a Liverpool supporter, and so long as whoever is in charge of "my" team is doing an admirable job (which he is so far this season) then I'll support that manager regardless of what any other knob from a rival team says. For me, Benitez is progress compared to anything else we've had in the last 19 years. He's transformed us into one of the most feared teams in Europe in such a short time, while the league is obviously going to be a little more taxing as Rome wasn't built in a day you know. Compare the likes of Ajax, Munich, and even Madrid on the continent, all of which were once supreme forces in Europe, and it's hard to see any other manager with a vacancy that will do a better job than him. If we manage to come second in the league this year not far off the eventual winners and do well in Europe once again, then that to me is a mark of continuation of progress.

GYBS
do you know the concept of the game ? yes the manager buys players and trains them (along with his coaches and assistant ) but the players kick the ball - they score the goals - they make the saves - they make the mistakes during the match - they get the glory and they get the pain - yes the manager is the leader and send his troops into battle so to say but those troops still have to perform - the manager cant make them perform - he cant give them heart or passion or willingness - he can give them tactics and try and change things but the responsibility on that pitch is down to the players .

You see rafa is like a builder he builds a team.

Now if I built you a house and that house fell apart would you blame the bricks the wood maybe or cement ? or would you blame the builder the one who choses what bricks to use what wood to by and the one who cements it all together.

I guess you would blame the bricks.  :Oo:
