and why did maureen not need 5 years - something which you continuely fail to see - HE WAS ABLE TO SPEND MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF MONEY IE OVER A 100 MILLIONS WORTH ON PLAYERS plus the fact the squad was pretty much already there from the season before he just added a couple 20 million pound players and away you go .

Wenger didnt need 5 years though did he.  Is it the case now that no matter who managed LFC it would take at least 5 years to mount a serious challenge for the title?  I cant accept that.

Well according to GYBS it didn't take Rafa that long of course but then he trusts Rafa and in his little dream world Rafa is the greatest manager of all time who never ever makes a mistake, well at least not one that can't in some convoluted way be blamed on Parry or the owners.

Yes are in a challenge but the point is if Rafa was to go and someone else came in nest season it does not mean that we wouldnt be able to sustain a challenge in a new manager's 1st or 2nd season.

Why would they go?  If the right Manager was brought in players wouldnt be eager to leave.

Money was enough to keep Chelsea's players at Chelsea. However, Frank Lampard and Drogba considered leaving. I get the sense that Benitez was added motivation to sign us for us, especially from the Spanish contingent.

Great, let's hope he stays and signs another few "kwalitee" players who "can create shanses"....just like Josemi, Gonzalez, Morientes.....
