The squad that went to Italy doesn't look too strong at all.

No, we'll get thumped all the same regardless of the squad he took. Napoli aren't a great side either, but Roy will have the players set out to sh*t bricks. Regardless if we lose the game 4-0, nought will be made of it in the press, Roy will give his usual "we played well" bollox, and some will still say "ah, sure, give him more time" bollox too.

Win vs Napoli
Win vs Blackburn
Win vs Bolton
Win vs Napoli
I'll give him the luxury to Lose against Chelsea if he wins all the previous games.
Win vs Wigan
Win vs Stoke
Win vs West Ham
Win/Draw vs Spurs

He'll have my full support if he does this :D. It may be too much but it's the only way we'll get out of relegation zone and start competing for the 4th place.

fecking hell mate if we win all them games we might be back in contention to win the title again?

If he does this we'll have 22-24 points after 15 games, Chelsea curenlty have 19, City have 17 and Arsenal and United have 14. We still wont be 4th IF we do this, but we'll be in the race and we'll be very close. Plus, it's not like I'm asking Roy to win games againts Chelsea or United or City, I'm asking him to beat mid-table teams if he really wants to do something with this team. He curenly has almost 0 trust in the Liverpool fans so he must do something big, but possible if he wants that trust back.

I didnt say that it will be easy... but he comes at a club like ours and he cant win away games? The guy is asking for a chance and the support of the fans... you dont get that trust and support from the Liverpool fans that easy, and you will certainly lose it if you are in relegation zone. He must put in some effort if he wants all that. Like I said, hard, but possible... and it's not like something that LFC isnt capable of... then again the question is if Roy's capable of it.

too soon to be sacked, but even I am losing patience!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

I voted yes. I said this back days before his arrival but he is simply not good enough for the club, and certainly not the fan's favourite. He has no trophy winning credentials nor mentality fit enough to motivate a team filled with world class players who have lost their direction this season. He spends too much time with the media, and then insulting us in the process with some of his bizarre excuses. He needs to leave as soon as possible, the better.

I voted yes.

I am all for giving him time but the slide we are on is inexcusable.
Its not just the fact that we are losing games either. Its the way we are playing.
Not really creating anything and sitting far too deep.
He was described as a defensive manager by many before he arrived and to be honest i didnt know a great deal about how he usually sets out his sides.
I have been quite a bit this season and i will be honest i am bemused.
If there isnt someone available right now i would think the caretaker manager option (Kenny) seems the most sensible for me.

I'm no tactical genius, and I would concede that Roy knows more than I do, but there is *something* not right between him and the players, as any team that includes -

Reina
Johnson (I know, I know, but he is England's RB)
Carra
Mereiles
Cole
Torres

Should not be in 19th, and looking like relegation fodder.

I say make a change now before things become too serious.  With players like ours not used to scrapping against relegation, we can't afford to be down there after xmas.  Currently I don't know where the next points are coming from, and even worse I don't think Roy does either.

I'd have Kenny till xmas as caretaker and see how he does.  If he does well, he gets the job, and if we can find a better candidate willing to come, we appoint them.

I think youre in dream land mate. Face facts & reality.
But Under Hodgson I predict:
Lose vs Napoli
Draw vs Blackburn
Win vs Bolton
Lose vs Napoli
Lose vs Chelsea
Draw vs Wigan
Draw vs Stoke
Win vs West Ham
Lose vs Spurs

Look man, I didnt say that he will do it, I said that he must do it if he wants to please us fans, if he wants to do something good with this club and if he wants to keep his job. Like I said, I've almost lost all hope for Roy but he wants us to give him a chance. If he wants my support than he'll have to do something like this. It is almost impossible especialy since we have Roy as our manager, but it is a thing that can be done.

Whilst many will bang on with the often repeated quote "they're too good to go down" the football league is littered with once "glorius" teams that were apparently "too good to go down" , in my life time I've watched (with glee) as Man Utd were relegated from the top flight and also witnessed the collapse of two time European Cup winners Nottingham Forest.

I want to believe that we are "too good to go down" but let's face it, when you look at our performances this season,  allowing ourselves to get beaten at home by newly promoted Blackpool as just one example, there's little other than "belief" to suggest that this is just a "blip" we're going through.

We're in deep sh'it and I don't think Roy Hodgson is the man who will lead the team and get us out of it. I'd get rid of him asap and put Kenny in as caretaker until the end of the season, win or lose at least with Kenny in charge, given his legendary status, his appointment might just inspire the team  to finally show some fight, pride and self belief, before it's too late.
