Well congrats to all the players.

Morientes was great and, my word, scored a great header.

Hyppia played well and scored.

Milan needed that goal to boost his confidence and sealed a fine win for the team.

Beware Everton, we are on our way !
Beware fellow defenders, Milan is coming !

Morientes' goal was a terrific effort. Its nice to see us with a guy who is good in the air up front. For all his power Emile Heskey wasn't the cleverest of players in making the kind of runs off the shoulder of the centre half that Fernando made today.

I was shell shocked, haven't seen anyone up front that could head the ball in all year.  That's why prior to today we had scored 1 header all year.  Finally Hyypia scored from where he is dominant, and Morientes latched onto the end of Garcias cross.
