It will be good if we sign Etoo, because a name like that offers great song potential.

"We love you Etoo, we do...
We love you Etoo, we do...
We love you Etoo, we do....
Oh Etoo....your skin is so soft!!!!"

Guardian reckons Barca only have £34m to spend this Summer:

Henry remains at the top of Barcelona's shopping list:
http://football.guardian.co.uk/News_Story/0,,2076310,00.html

"Laporta is hoping to exploit those misgivings by employing classic Spanish transfer tactics. They have €50m (£34m) available to spend on players this summer but would not commit more than half of that on Henry, a player who will be 30 in August."

Could it be that only if they got Henry would we be likely to get Eto'o?

Re. swapping Xabi/cash for Eto'o - do they need Xabi? They already have Xavi
and he's only 27. Would like to see what Sabre or Barca Murph have to say about this.

The more I think about it the less I think it will happen.

Xavi Hernandez isn't a holding midfielder, nor is Iniesta. Motta and Edmilson are but they're both quite :censored:.

There have been talks of Albelda joining Barca [he's a holding midfielder] and Danielle De Rossi from Roma.

I dont think Eto is leaving.  However if he does it will only be for a huge huge fee.  I think £30 mil minimum and that to me is out of our budget.

Everybody is talking about Eto'o leaving Barcelona, and everybody is spouting rumours

Ronaldo the Brazilian, says he'd fit perfectly in Milan AC, and the "Gazzeta dello Sport" says Milan will enter the race for Eto'o.

Sport, a Barcelona paper, says here that Barcelona is interested on Henry and that they'd pay 15 M Euros (10M quid more or less); for him, which seems insufficient given the money is being moved in England as of late, but tells us aswell that a reasonable amount could be enough if we want Eto'o.

The same paper says though in a lower article that all the rumours about Eto'o are just that rumour, and says that articles appeared in Daily Mail and other english papers are clueless.

So, it's all a mess mates. They say they want Henry, but at the same time they deny they want to sell Eto'o probably to make Eto'o more expensive. It's obvious that when you're talking of a player like this, we'll have competition to sign him up.

At least now, we're starting the race with more odds than other years.

At least this year we'll have more 'hoptions and posshibilities' as Rafa likes to say!

'you know my idea'!

Yes, typical mistake of Rafa, we say possibilities instead of chances or odds.

I don't know how he isn't caught on lost in translations more often, to be honest :)

Theres nothing wrong with the word Steve, its the pronounciation (sp) of possibilities.

Nice to know, I thought it was a funny mistake because I saw a red banner and everything with the "We have many possibilities"  or something.

LFC2007: People around here are already used to that, but from time to time, more accurately, quite often, I might write strange things in english  :D
