If you are looking for the best then there's only one candidate obviously and it's Mourinho. Whether or not you'd get him is entirely a different question, my suspicion is that he will have already promised himself to one of the manc clubs. I know many fans can't stand him, "I wouldn't have him near our club" etc etc, but really and truthfully if you want a manager who has the best chance of winning us trophies, it's him.

You all discuss this like we are managerless. Oh, and as if we can summon whomever we want.

Quite a few here seem to think rafa will get sacked soon, and that any manager would jump at the chance to work at a club with financial problems.

lose against wigan and we might aswell be managerless emerald are you telling me yr happy with how Liverpool are playing right now? Same set of players from last season minus alonso yet if we played last season's liverpool we'd get trashed 4-0 why is that? Has the manager lost the dressing room? Well i say lets wait and see wat happens during the xmas period if we lose 2 or 3 more before january i think he'll get the sack

Why do people keep saying Mourinho?

1) The guy lacks any class
2) Even if we did want him we couldn't as he is not going to come here with zero budget

Some fans need a savior in these dark times. At this stage I think some people would be happy with Sammy Lee in charge

I agree though that Mourinho without a decent budget in Liverpool would be terrible.

Liverpool fans would do well not to forget how arrogant this :censored: is & his attitude to criticism is much worse than Rafa.

Is the special one really that special?

Allow me to ask a simple question, can any decent manager (Rafa's equivalent/lower in terms of achievement) be able to achieve better than 3 wins out of 15 games?

I say a firm yes.

I couldn't careless if he's arrogant, no class and what not. He has a proven managerial record and I think he would do a better job. I would support whoever can bring Liverpool trophy. I dont even mind Alex Ferguson managing LFC as long we can win it.

There.
