It's a major turn off when you have just scored and when you look at Rafa and he's giving you the next instruction (probably to defend)....

I was watching Gerrards goals yesterday on LFCTV.
Rafas response is very strange on very nearly all of them. I would dearly love to know what his gestures mean and who they are aimed at? I cant imagine any player even looking at him while theyre celebrating a goal?
Rather weird...

Me too. I think Benitez's nonsense on the sideline is more for the benefit of the cameras, than anyone on the field. If not, he's kidding himself if he thinks anyone is getting anything from the hand waving/pulling/sliding he does during a game.

Why?

Why back a lousy manager? too many people think supporting a manager is the same as supporting a club. When the wrong man is in charge he must be fired - otherwise Souness would still be here.

The manager is rubbish - going nowhere - and a draw with stoke is now a reasonable result, so low are the standards.

It isn't what people think these days, it is what they want to be seen to be thinking/doing/saying etc and what they 'think' makes them a 'true fan'. Some people are so far up their own backsides they can see out their mouths, goes for a few on here for differing reasons
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

that isn't anything new. Capelo doesn't jump up and down and neither do the majority of top flight mangers.

I think its great when you see managers jumping up and down when there team scores.  It shows passion for the game.

I love the clip of Gerrard Houllier when Gary Mac scored against Everton in the dying minutes and Houllier is laughing his head off and jumping around.  Its brilliant!

Just like to add I dont want Houlier back :p
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

Good job you said that or we would have thought you did...

People always go to extremes. I am not suggesting that Rafa jumps up and down every time we score a goal. But he could show some pleasure and appreciation if its a good or important goal.
To simply stand there sucking a mint or looking at his watch gives the message that hes not ar'sed. I'm not saying he isnt, but he could give an indication that hes pleased with his players for finding the back of the oppositions net

REDTILLDEAD. This has nothing to do with The 'spirit of shankly' this is ordinary match going reds , who want to show there support for the manager . NOTHING TO DO WITH SOS . Sos' s job is not to tell the supporters if they should back the manager or not. Lets nip that one in the bud right away.
UP THE PURPS !!!

No, only the vast majority of the Kop end will be doing that. And SOS are not a "minority".

Why don't we make Pepe manager then?

He jumps around a lot when we score.

Or shall we just hire a kangaroo?
