When you invite the opposition on to attack you allow them te opportunity to score tap ins
I learned that when I was in primary school

dont you think rafa has had enough time and money to make a mark by now??? i think the board are right not to give him any more money as he has wasted enough.. robbie keane, ryan babbel, trying to flog alonso then deny it to buy acquilani?? who looks to be another sicknote {harry kewell}, who are the people that advise him to get these over paid egos..

How can anyone justify that?

We ARE a mid table side at best (and a poor one at that)

I personally think that was a much better performance in a match we should have nicked at the end. Maybe weve reached our lowest point and will start dragging ourselves out of the sh'it?
Terrible goal to give away again though. Disgraceful defending again.

Only compared to our recent Div3 standards!

Why was Ngog left on for 85mins?
Ridiculous line up, :censored: display for a so called top 4 team.

The lads battled like f*ck today for the manager, we can't blame them for not trying today. I feel sorry for Rafa as this was another kick in the teeth for him.

i didn't think Ngog played well, deserved to be substituted. First touch from him and Kuyt are awful today, the coach is not doing a good job about it.
The only player with world class performance is from Reina, was impressed with him taking 1 v 3 from the cross in.

The season ended before it started for anyone who had eyes in his head ,Xabi leaving with no decent replacement ,Lucas and Mash to hold the MF ,leaving Torres as solo stricket with no decent counterpart ,signing of an injured player - that was game set and match before first season kickoff.

Those mistakes in my book deserve termination ,however we would only see at in the end of the season, need to brace ourselves for the long winter hopefully we remain standing.

To Rafa's "credit" i would say he didn't imagine so many players will be in bad form and injured, but he should have prepared a deeper squad then last year and he failed catastrophicly.

I really hope Guus Hidinck is on somebody to sign list but who knows - depressing times are upon us.

He can now justify why he has made the decisions he has made and put to bed the accusation that his players are clueless and not good enough.
He can now prove that he is a master tactician, a visionary. and a top flight manager who could walk into any of the top teams in the world.
The chips are down
The stage is set
Go do your stuff Rafa...

It's really hard, though. No confidence. No luck. No sign of turning a corner. We've all seen from teams that have a terrible run that when your down, your luck really is out. No one wants to make mistakes and everyone actually tries to hard to the point where it's doing more harm than good. We need a win from somewhere. Failure to beat Spurs on Wednsday, and there will ne no CL football next season, and we really will be in the sh*t. That game is massive. If we win there, then maybe we can break the spell. I'm not very optimistic. Even for myself.  :(

Trying is not a plus its a mandatory!

Another very poor job by Rafa for me, if hes not to blame for us sitting on the lead in the second half then he should react to the situation with changes
He hasnte got a clue how to kill a game off

Pre-season i think many of us already foresee the danger of  having Torres as our only world-class striker. It is like jumping down an airplane with only a parachute and no spare. What happens to Keane? Crouch? Owen? Bellamy?

So Rafa is playing with fire, he deserved to get burn. Only the club and fans are innocent parties.
Also the treatment of Babel is a disgrace, if you are not going to play him, then fu.ck.ing loan him back to Ajax or sell him to Brimingham for 9 mil instead of letting him rot on the bench, spoiling team morale and his market value.

Rafa is really stupidly stubborn.

Rafa is stubborn, yes, but I don't think you fully grasp some of the reasons for the things you've mentioned in your post. Why loan Babel back, or flog him if we are skint and in dire need for players? I'm sure Rafa would love to get rid of the lazy b"stard, but it's out of his hands when what good would it do to sell if you know you can't spend?
