Here is an update from RAWK with regards to RTK, credit goes to BHB for this summary of a meeting with .tv which took place yesterday evening.

Quick overview of last night’s meeting:

The purpose of the meeting was to basically sit down with .tv and see what they can offer us, what we can and can’t do and just basically talk about how they envisage presenting the message we want to get across.

It’s looking like kicking off on January 1st under the idea of ‘new year, new start’ and also tie it in with the city of Liverpool’s 800th birthday. Can be presented in a sort of ‘new year’s resolution’ kind of way in order to attack at the right angle and not get people’s backs up thinking we’re having a go at them.

The first article / introduction is all important – we need to start off with an all embracing message that this is for the benefit of everyone, to improve the atmosphere and enjoyment of going the game for everyone. Anything slightly controversial in the first week then it could mean potential viewers turning off before it’s even started. Something we really need to avoid and a lot of work will go into that first week and how it’s presented.

It will be run on .tv as a 10 week long feature – each week trying to get another message across and include a recording of a song. Anyone can then click on the link and listen to the song and have the words there in front of them, no excuses then for not knowing the songs.

Ideas so far for features include the history of the Kop and Liverpool supporters, why we don’t sing mainstream songs. If another club starts a song first, why we don’t just change the words and sing something similar. There are obvious exceptions like FOAR, but they are not songs sung by the masses, they are still tunes associated with ourselves.

Another idea is to use one week to promote KFS – explaining along the same lines as above, why we don’t take St.George’s banners etc. A history of our famous banners, covering the unique style we carry – no other club in the country has banners like ours, they all just do the same St.George thing. Try and get the message across why it’s so important we keep away from that and retain our traditions of being different.

Also plans to cover traditions such as clapping the opposition keeper, and applauding off sides when we are beaten. Not just clap any side, but sides that deserve respect – explaining why.

10 weeks is a massive platform to get as many messages across as possible, so any ideas or thoughts on what needs to be included in that feature please post them.

We’ve got just over a month to get everything down in print and ready to go, so enough time to ‘fine tune’ all the ideas thrown about.

I apologise in advance if it's posted in a wrong forum or doesn't deserve it's own thread.
