I have seen enough of him to know he will always be caught out with a winger behind him. Two of Berbatovs goals were a result of crosses from the wing Konchesky was supposed to be defending.

Dude, Konchesky had just gone off when they scored the winning goal. Agree he didn't get close enough to his winger though.

Hodgson should seriously consider whether he is really up to the challenge of managing a club like Liverpool. We may only be talking about 5 league games 5 Europa games and 1 league cup game but as I see it Hodgson's had 11 games too many already. The reservations that some of us had about Hodgson may now be coming home to roost. Whatever happens after tonight I don't think Hodgson will be at the club next season.

Not especially peeved we went out tonight, but disappointed. A couple of really big games coming up with Sunderland and then Blackpool at home. Chance to get our season up and running in the league. I sense the pressure will build dramatically if Hodgson doesn't pick up maximum points in these two.

Well, I disagree due to the fact that Roy was the best we could have got and could get. No world class manager will touch us with a bean pole, I think it is time to realise that....

a top class centre back is an absolute must for me, even more so than a back up striker.

Roy's Reaction.

Sounds as if he already has his mind on who will be leaving and who will stay.
