I hope we sign Cole, we need a player like him, and it's obvious Chelsea wont utilise him to his full capacity.

Especially as poor little Everton want him aswell.

I'm afraid e will lose some of the more qulity players that GH has lined up to come in if he goes. I don;t think there has been too much wrong with Houlliers purchases in general, he just doesn;t seem to know how to get the best out of them or get the right blend in the team. I really hope the Mexes deal is done also, we need his kind of centre defender. I haven't seen too much of him and am only relying on hearsay but he seems to be quality

Can't remember the exact wording but it did sound a bit threatening on Stevie's part. The gist of it sounded like he wanted 3 top signings or he'd be considering his future. Worrying stuff. Moores get yer fu*king cheque book out!

We should sign Svetislav Biscan, Mustapha Rubb and Turd Burgla immediately(see tranfers lets get excited thread) that should keep Stevie happy.

As for Joe Cole, I like him but don't you think he's a bit of a lightweight . I sometimes think a strong gust of wind could knock him off the ball .

I wouldn't write him off, I would give him a chance to play in Premier League. I do like him as footballer, very good player but I wouldn't pay 16m for him to join Liverpool, it is my opinion, mate.

i would definitelyt be optimistic if liverpool bought cisse mexes rosicky and cole!

but i halso heard on the grapevine that newcastle are planning a 20m clear out to raise funds etc and included in the clear out and bellamy and dyer cos they are supposed to be injury prone!

injury prone or not i would go after dyer hes quality, our team would be

DYER GERRARD HAMANN/ROSICKY KEWELL

OWEN CISSE

that would do very well in the league and champions league i reckon! :cool:

he has more pace and is more direct i think, cole get pushed off the ball too easily and is a bit small for my liking, he is quality and believe me i wouldnt be disapointed if we got him but i would prefer dyer! no? :cool:

But Joe Cole has excelent vision, very good skill, clever passer, can play left + right side midfield too and very good flair too.
That is type of player that we need.

Dyer can be greedy b@stard cos he want more money, Joe Cole want to play more first team football than having more money.

YEAH SUPPOSE YOUR RIGHT STAN THATS A GOOD POINT, WELL IM EASY (WAHEY) SO WOULDNT MIND EITHER OF THEM COMING, IT WOULD PROBABLY BE EASIER TO GET COLE THOUGH, COS CHELSEAS WILL SIGN A LOAD MORE PLAYERS AGAIN THIS SUMMER! :cool:
