A half an hour long interview with Rocket Ronny will be aired on Channel 5 (the Israeli cable TV sports channel) at 22:00 local time (20:00 London time)
I will try to translate the main things (well, at least those about Liverpool  :buttrock ).
Hope it will be interesting.

See you in an hour ....

ok. so we have seen many, many goals by Ronny from his Maccabi Haifa, Belgian teams, Liverpool and Totenham days (including his cup hat trick in extra time).

about his LFC days :
he talked about coming from Belgium to the greatest team in Europe on a loan in the last week of transfers.
He said that he decided that his time is short and he needed to make a quick impresion.
he played two reserves games, in one of them against ManU he scored two. Kenny Dalglish came to speak with him after the game ....
"I didn't understand a word .... somebody had to translate HIS English to an English I can understand ..."  :D

Than he played against Southhampton as a sub "I think I played well".

Next game was a cup game with Charlton.
"an hour before the game Kenny tells me that I am playing instead of Birdsley". Ronny scored a hat trick in the 4-1 win.

"after the game in the bus Kenny called me. He gave me the phone in the bus, there where no cell phones than and a phone in a car was rare. Kenny told me I can call anyone I want .... I called all friends and family in Israeli. It must cost Liverpool a fortune  :D  "

Asked who was the best player in LFC Ronny says :
"I think Barnes, Rush, Molby, Nickol and ray Houghton were the best"

"after we won the championship, Moran came into the dressing room, put the medales on a table and said - practice starts July 5th. there where no celebrations ... nobody thought it will be the last championship for the club".

Today Ronny lives in London. His 6 year old son is playing for Totenham, and he is an agent (he brought silva to arsenal)

about the Aston Villa miss : "I was alone and the defender was behind me, so I kicked a low ball. Dont know what happend (smiles) ...  :;):

well, I think thats it ...
it was very nice to see some of his great goals - some of them I seen for the first time.

Hope all of you have good memories from Rocket Ronny ...
