Robbie is home now so it matter not one bit - If in his six months he really did the business for us he would still be with us - simple as that . no matter how many times he was subbed he still had plenty time on the pitch to prove himself.

The real reason Keane went back to Spurs was because he fecked up the tarmac on Rafas drive way and was insulted when he seen the bench :D

He does have knacker-ish looks, I agree with that.

n saying that, I believe that most "Offence" is actually used as a weapon to gain the moral high ground on something. But Bam's original post was said with a certain amount of spite, if not anger and it's in those moments that we should all check the words we use carefully

Tonyeh my use of Paddy wasnt used in Spite, far from it. But I'll refrain from using the word as it seems to offend most people.

Just remember, to the Irish posters who were offended by the words Paddy, from now on refrain from using the words, Cockney, Brum, Manc, Scouser and Taff so double standards dont form. :;):

Ok Bam, no worries. I don't have a problem with it anyway. I don't believe that mere words should be given such power.

paddy's, jocks, taffs, guffys, paki's, gooks, yanks, split-links etc etc

This world needs to lighten up and get real. something offensive is a weapon. I'm english and work in jock land and get called a guff and i think its quite funny.

F*ck off!

There's a difference there. A knacker doesn't just mean slang for a Gypsy. If you even had a clue, you wouldn't open yer gob. It's a term use in the south, mostly in parts of Dublin and Cork. Corkers call Dubliners knackers, as do Limerick folk, which is where I'm from. It's a term used by Irish people towards Irish people.

I'd prefer it was just completely dropped. I regret even saying anything in the first place. I feel as if I'm the one that's cause offense by de-railing the thread, so I apologize to everyone else in advance.
