You're all bizarre. Just plain bizarre.  :help

How do you know the bolded section above as true?
It's a preception, NOTHING more.... going by your earlier theories and posts.

All opinions, mate. From where I'm sitting, Rafa, IMO, is only interested in Rafa. Rants in the press.... washing of dirty laundry in public is not the Liverpool way. His behaviour in the last few months is embarassing and I firmly believe that it's his move in the chess game with his bosses.

No, you're absolutely right. Gerrard and Carragher don't mention in their Autobiographies how dedicated Rafa is to Liverpool.

He didn't stay with the team for a nothing game when his Dad died.

He didn't spend every match on the phone when in hospital/recuperation, then return before he was fully recovered. (I suppose the GK Coach was just on to his mum for a nice chat...)

He doesn't take videos of the team home with him, prompting his wife to not say that she barely sees him during the season.

He clearly has no regard for the club whatsoever...

Funny - the calls for Kuyt to be dropped don't seem to end whenever he scores...

end of the day, Keane wasn't performing for us and never looked like breaking into the team based on his performances. who is behind the sale is something all of us can only speculate on. We all supported Keane and wanted him to do well at the club but the line must be drawn somewhere, he wasn't performing.

how this transfer has manifested such negativity is beyond me. If it was Torres I'd understand but it's not, its Robbie Keane, a prolific striker for Spurs who simply didn't cut it at Liverpool. I'm not saying I dislike him, he was a quality player at Spurs and will probably be so again now he's back there, I always wanted him to do well at the club and he's a likable character and for that I wish him all the best and thank him for the effort he has made in his short time here.

In my view, the loss of Keane is not a great one. It's a sad day because we knew what he was capable of and he never produced, thats all. He wouldn't have made my strongest 11 when he was here so I don't believe there is a need for the doom and gloom surrounding it. Find a replacement for cover and I'll get over it. Do we always need something negative to bring the place down?

We are in a great position right now, granted it could have been better, but there's no point in dwelling in the past, whats done is done. We're 2 points behind the Mancs with Torres looking like he may be ready to produce the form of yesteryear. Time to look forward :)

I would pick Kuyt over Keane. If you disagree - tell me why. If not, you're not here for footballing chat and should naff off sharpish.

Are you for real?

I'll address the points you made

1. Kuyt is 10 times the player Keane can ever wish to be - try watching association football

2. Dutch International, regular starter for LFC. - worst Dutch side in living memory, was bought as a striker, yet can't score. Fits in with the hard working ethos of a manager with a negative mindset

3.Keane - ROI International and serial bench-warming flop. - First name on the team sheet, record goalscorer, Captain too. Ruined by a negative manager, totally stripped of any confidence. Treated disgracefully, certainly not the Liverpool way

4.And regarding this calculator business and your lack of guts, I'm just glad your kind weren't on the front line in 1914, otherwise we'd all be speaking German... - wie komme ich am besten zum bahnhof, bitte?

So Keane should have been given playing time, despite stropping every time something he didn't like occurred?

Pennant. Bellamy. Diouf.

Three players who did the same - I don't ever recall anyone blaming Rafa for getting shut of them...

I didn't see Keane stropping every time he was taken off..... the poor lad must be knackered after 18 strops. That must be why he got dropped for the next game almost every time he scored, the lad was too exausted from all the stropping.

So you agree, then, that he found somethign to disagree with every match?

Why oh why is it always Rafa's fault, and never the player? Would you trust a nob with an ASBO over a Doctor?

I think we have now seen that Rafa can't be trusted to put Liverpool's interests before his own, thats the sad truth mate.

Its certainly not in Liverpools interests to go into the rest of the season with only one striker worthy of the name.

All Rafa has been doing is manipulating the situation to ensure that his new contract was to his liking, both with the owners and now using Keane as a pawn in his own selfish little game.

Saint.

Players cannot be sold without Parry's say so. Why aren't you having a go at him?

Its not just the selling of Keane thats upset me its the shabby way he has been treated, and the reasons why he has been treated so shabbily that has upset me. That Rafa would put his own selfish interests before Liverpools.

Parry needs to go, Hicks and Gillett need to go, and Rafa Benitez needs to go after his disgraceful behaviour over this whole shabby business.

Players need to know they are in or out of the team or squad on merit not because Rafa is playing power games with the board.

Yes, and Sainty-wainty needs to put his toys back in his pram.

Where would this club be if we sacked/got shut of everyone in charge?

Think about it, for God's sake. What you are suggesting would bring Liverpool FC to an end, you daft lamp. :no

Not really, if we get new owners its only to be expected that they will bring in their own people. If you cant argue without resorting to your soft little insults don't fkn bother.

There is only one person here acting like a child Lando....... and its not me.

Don't start what you can't finish Saint. What makes you feel it's fine to attack the manager, but not OK for me to retaliate on his behalf?

Come to think of it - what makes the rest of you think this way? Surely you're all just reaping what you sew

So let's get this straight:

You want to sell out to some unknowns, and have them restructure the entire club with their own staff?

It will never happen. To do that would close LFC. Simple as that.

Don't start what I can't finish with a child like you ..... don't make me laugh Lando. Try growing up instead of acting like and idiot ....... then again maybe you arn't acting.

No answer to that, then?

I'm not getting banned for you, Bam or peewee - not one of you are worth it.

I have refrained from all swearing. I have not insulted unless provoked (and have done so mildly). I have tried to steer the discussion back on topic several times.

If you 3 think you're going to achieve something by getting the one person who will stand up to your rubbish banned, you're sadder than I thought.

(FAO the Mods - be aware of this - I have done nothing to warrant a ban, no matter how much these upstanding, accomodating posters have goaded me. I have merely fought my corner, without the bad language and severe insulting some lovvies found so hurtful. That is all I have been asked to do.)

Personally i prefer benny on the right than kuyt. Atleast benny seems to have more of an attacking mentality and passes the ball better. Kuyt does work his socks off but for me he seems a little defensive. Yes we do see him play at times some football but common you have to admit the guy is a average player in the wrong side. Out of 5 games maybe in 1 he plays decent. Really hope we replace him in the summer. Do not want to see another season of kuyt on the right.

Bit tricky bringing in a replacement when the transfer window is closed. I am not even sure if we can loan someone in now..... I remember reading a while ago that you can only bring in a goalkeeper now after the window closes.

Anyone know the actual rule?

Special dispensation is granted for exceptional circumstances. The chavs weren't able to get a loan when Cech and Cudicini were legitimately injured, so there's no chance of an emergency loan if Torres were to get injured

I was wondering the same thing so I had a look.

actually I think he may be right that it is only in exceptional circumstances

We can only bring in a guy who is out of contract.

Henrik Larrsson it is so.

In your opinion.

Which one has scored in a Champions' League Final? Which one was his sides top scorer in their march to said final?

Which one plays 90 minutes nearly every game for a top side? Worst Dutch side in living memory - is that Kuyt's fault?

Kuyt "can't score", yet has the same amount of goals this season as Keane, despite having played out on the wing.

Let's not forget, also, that Kuyt cost half what Keane did, and had never played in England.

But hey - you think what you will.

"wie komme ich am besten zum bahnhof, bitte?" - The trains aren't running mate - Rafa's sabotaged them...

No answer to WHAT? I have already said that if and when we get new owners they will bring in their own people, and in all likelyhood their own choice of manager (especially if the contract has not been extended)

AS FOR THE INSULTS JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE MILDER THAN YOUR FORMER ONES IT STILL DOESN'T MEAN THEY ARE RIGHT. You can look in ANY THREAD around the board and all you seem to have accomplished is to "mildly" insult people in almost every thread you have posted.

I was quite willing to discuss it with you, you preferred to start insulting people.
