No.

Short and sweet.

The question is, is selling him right now without a replacement a good idea? And for those who are suggesting it's been done without Rafa's consent, I ask you in all seriousness knowing the manager like we all do, do you really think he'd put up with that?

Answer to question one, IMHO, it's a terrible mistake. And if it's Rafa's decission I'd find it shocking.

On the second question, Rafa is also the man who wanted Barry here but somebody didn't make it possible. So it doesn't seem to me everything concerning how we buy , when, and for how much is in Rafa's hands. As for putting up with it, I don't know, a while back they were looking replacements for him, yet he decided to stay, even if he was told to focus on the pitch. Meaning, Rafa has eaten his pride more than once Mick.

The scenario you describe, of Rafa wanting Keane out now, is possible and maybe likely with the data we have (although I can't understand how Rafa could be angry about speculation on Keane then). I just can't be 100% sure and I'll wait to see and hear what kind of explanation they give from the club.

Thats a scary point mate.

Why not sell Torres then, if they are trying to cashin, why don't you guys stop making bullsh1t excuses for the manager, drag your heads out of the sand and smell the coffee, the club is in complete fecking turmoil, we have :censored: senior mangement, :censored: owners and a :censored: football manager, please someone buy us and do a complete clearout of management and half the useless feckers who are in our squad and have the cheek to call themselves footballers!

yep lets put the club back another 5 years

Yeah cause it took Chelsea 5 years to win after Roman bought them didn't it?? What is this 5 year :censored: you keep quoting, just because it's taken Rafa 5 years to almost mount a challenge doesn't mean it takes everyone that long.

Jaysus mate, were the kids throwing snowballs at you on the way home from school ? Or who broke your crayons ?

Its the owners who receive any bids and ultimately its them who sanction any deals.
I dont think its that much of a stretch of imagination but like I say its only my opinion no need to get out your pram.

But then wouldnt that be the board making the decisions in which you put up your argument?

Bit confused but what I meant was if they were trying to cash in, wouldn't our beloved owners have sold Torres.
New owners can install anyone they want to, that is kind of one of the perks of being an owner, isn't it??

Yes, and the decisions with the team are what are down to the manager they bring in. New owners getting rid of half the team doesnt help anyone.

Ok well taggert took 6 plus years and chelsea were able to spend 300 odd million in two or three seasons to get the title .

GYBS was it correct to sell Keane back to Spurs at a massive  loss at this point in time (i.e in the middle of a title challenge), yes or no?

Well of course there's nothing we can do about it...we're all just bystanders to the train wreck.  That doesn't mean we can't feel mighty hacked off about how it all played out.  Sorry but I'm not yet to the point of shrugging my shoulders and saying 'oh well, I guess we'll just have to get on with it.'  Not by a long way.  :no

Not meaning to have a go at you but I'm just so fecking annoyed at some of the blind devotion on here when our club is going to sh1t before our eyes.
