Your positivity is admirable in some ways but we can't all share the 'nodding dog', let's just get on with it and support the boys approach that you employ regardless of the decisions made by the club or manager. If I ever needed a 'Yes' man you would be it.

Ok what do we do then ? What is your plan of action ?

It doesn't really matter what my plan of action would be now does it because it would have involved releasing Kean ONLY in the event that we could get a replacement. I'm far more worried about the manager's planning for the rest of the season.

- I'm worried that the manager has never trusted Babel to do a job up-front before (or even on the left this season) and perhaps that means he won't be up to it now.

- I'm worried the manager is putting his hopes on Ngog who in my opinion, has looked HUGELY out of depth when he has played thus far this season.

- I'm worried that Kuyt (don't jump on my back coz i'm no Kuyt basher) is going to be relied upon to be a first choice striker for many of our games. FWIW i'm more than happy with him as 3rd choice.

- I'm worried that if Torres gets injured we will likely be relying on all three of these guys to step up and play out of their skins

And apparently you are not......

Some people are never happy!! jesus, he aint playin so should we keep him or cut our losses? I like Keane, I like his work rate, he's intelligent and he's a Liverpool supporter - but it weren't workin. Yes, we're a striker down and in the brown if Torres gets injured - but it's not like we're gonna miss Keane's goals is it? Or maybe some people jus wanna see Rafa put out of the job and wanna jump on the band wagon......

Right now we're the nearest the scum hav to contenders, and possibly in the best position to win the PL that some folk here have ever actually seen - so lets rip it all up, sack the manager and then find another top boss prepared to put up with the yanks, the threat of the club bein repossessed and the job of 'turnin it round to winnin ways' without barely the finance to buy the latest copy of autotrader.

Get behind the team, appreciate the fact that Rafa's put his gonads on a large block and sold Keane and maybe watch this club regain its place at the top of a tree we've forgotten how to climb.
Stu Averill, a wannabe Scouse/Scot. I remember the good times & have faith in them comin back

Beside the Hillsborough Flame, I heard a Koppite mournin, "Why so many taken on that day?" Justice has never been done. But their memory we'll carry on. There'll be Glory Round The Fields Of Anfield Road

I like that about Rafa - he moves the sh*t on ASAP.

And to think there are those on here who truly believe he was Rafa's signing... :D

To be honest Lando, I can't believe people are trying to say that Keane wasn't Benitez's signing.  If he wasn't then the sh.it would have hit the fan at the start of the season.  As it was, it didn't.  Benitez had a smile from ear to ear in the press conference when Keane was signed, banging on about how he was 'his type of player' as he combined ability with workrate.  And at the time, although he didn't necessarily look the best player for us to spend 20 million on, he did look to me like the type of player Rafa would like.  And Rafa played him very regularly to begin with.

I believe that Benitez gave Parry a list of targets, which included Keane and Barry last summer.  I also believe that if it came down to a choice then Benitez would rather have spent the money on Barry.  As it was, I reckon Parry ignored this and preferred to spend it on Keane, which is why Benitez got upset.  Having said this, I still believe that Benitez was initially happy to have Keane at the club.

However, when it became apparent that Keane couldn't settle, that he didn't fit in with our system and didn't initially click with Gerrard or Torres in attack, suddenly Benitez distances himself from the signing and puts it on Parry.  Benitez is a good coach but a sh.it man manager and over the last few weeks a childish man.

From what I heard, Keane wanted to stay at Liverpool, until he found out that Rafa was getting a new contract, he then realised there was no point fighting a move any longer and agreed to go.

Keane's agent supposedly was in touch with Spurs in NOVEMBER!

Feckin hell relax will you. Everyone here is acting like we just sold someone who has scored 15 goals so far. He hasnt done :censored: to contribute to where we are in a big way. Im honeslty not that bothered if we don't bring in someone. I think we have enough in us to get us through all the competitions.

Put his situation in your shoes.

Basically....LFC have treated the guy like a piece of dog dirt to be quite frank. If i was the poor guy i would be only to "Keane" (excuse the pun) to stick on past Reina and loose my old team the title. However, as a red, i obviously don't want that to happen!

I don't personally think he was given enough time.....but he didn't shine as much as i had hoped.

On another note........bring on Ngog as the back-up striker.....I mean he is title winning quality isn't he! I'd rather say not even West Brom quality myself. If Torres get's injured again......bye bye title, once and for all!
