torres - good enough for any team
kuyt - good enough for a team like west ham just about
ngog - good enough for a div 1 team
babel - a worse striker than cisse

Curious when have we seen babel given a real go as a striker ? With keane gone i hope rafa starts playing him there

Did keane score enough for us in the time he played on the pitch ? NO

Did he have many outstanding performances ? NO

Have we replaced him? NO

Are we utterly screwed if Torres gets injured again? YES

Do we have cover for a run in all three competitions even if Torres stays fit for the rest of the season? NO

Why not try answering a few of those questions? I'd be delighted to hear your reasons if you disagree with my answers.

Rafa knows its a tall order to win the league one striker down, we know it, the owners know it and so do the players.

With Keane not even in the squad, we´re no worse off today than we were for the Chelsea game yesterday and we did pretty well didnt we?

Lets get over it and get behind the team.

Enough of the moaning.

We don´t know babel as striker...

ok so at best babel is a risk to play as a striker

rubbish everywhere else he plays at the moment so im not confident

I´m not confident either, but he always said he´s a striker.

I hope so, he deserves a chance on his natural position

Robbie Keane is destined to score the goals that keep Spurs in the premiership.  Like most strikers he needs a manager that believes in him and gives him confidence and Redknapp will get the best out of him.

1741: Both Portuguese and Italian press are saying that Ricardo Quaresma to Chelsea from Inter Milan is a done deal, but we are very much yet to hear that from either club, so we'll keep you posted

No he hasnt been replaced yet we did well enough without him , in fact two of our best performances of the season didnt include him . Yes we dont have great cover for torres but we deal with it and move . no pont bleating like a sheep constantly about it now - keane is gone - end off - we now move on and support the players we have at the club and who knows we may even do well . keane wasnt the be all and end all of the club and we will survive without him .

whether or not babel will be good as a striker the fact remains

its a risk to put him upfront when we need to win every game to keep up with utd right now

Keane is destined to score goals in a medium level team like kuyt did in Feyenord.

Bellamy is good for West ham, but it doesn´t mean that he would be good for man United.
