No matter who signed or agreed the fee, he has acted like a complete child and it is HE who takes a lot of the blame for Keanes failure in my books.

I wish Robbie Keane well if he does complete the move cause he must go down in history as the worst treated player Liverpool FC have ever had on their books.
Rafa has damaged the clubs good reputation (what was left of it) and quite frankly I think any player the club approaches now is gonna have second thoughts about moving to us.

I will be disappointed if we don't at least get a back up in on loan for the rest of the season, as I dare not think what we'll do for goals should Torres, Gerrard or both pick up injuries.

I might be wrong but I think our last game of the season (or 2nd from last game) is against Spurs. How ironic if he scored against us haha.

Nice you jinxed us thx.

Yeah becasue no one would ever notice that.

Confirmed by FA. Deadline extended but 'no finite end date/time'. New deadline time will be given on a case by case basis.

If you were a striker you might have second thoughts though with the dabacle of Keane and not forgetting what happened with Crouch as well.

for the record it is the last game of the season

your haha comment confirms my assumption that you are merely a fly-by-night fanatic who will be following the fortunes of another team, sometime soon...I hope

Neither of them where good enough.

Crouch was an excellent hard working stop gap, and I would give him every thanks - KEane is someone with a big chip on his shoulder who seemed to think he would not need to score goals to get in the team.

S@int - those players fall into the same category.

I can understand a player moving on, but if Torres get's crocked who would we then turn to?.

In my eyes Kuyt would never be the answer to our striker solutions.

Not with me.  Keane was a flop and the fact is he was signed under Rafa's watch.  Rafa must of said he wanted the player and while the price may of been not his idea the facts remain he must of wanted the player.  No way should Rafa get away with being totally blameless in this flop of a signing.  There is no way Parry signed Keane without the consent of the Manager.  Not a chance.

???
Benitez takes the full blame for bringing Keane to LFC, but he missed treating him unprofessionally and with no respect, as he had done the same thing with Crouch.
Benitez method of acquiring player based on try & error, and there are numerous examples to fit that method while he has been a LFC manager!!!.
He is no genius, far from it.

Leon you are probably right about not being good enough but its Rafa that selected them - and paid massive money as well with Keane.
Its not just the fact that he is getting rid of Robbie its the way the whole situation has been handled.

Imo the team hasnt been considered first and foremost with his refusal to even name Keane sub in some games baffling to say the least.

Lets just hope we manage to a) recoup most of what we paid.
b) we then use it quickly to bring in another player cos if Torres got injured we would again be very short of options.
