Liverpool have agreed a fee with Swedish club Falkenbergs FF for starlet Astrit Ajdarevic.

The 16-year-old striker recently undertook a trial with the Premiership giants and clearly impressed the club's coaching staff.

The Reds immediately opened talks with the Swedish outfit and the parties have now concurred on a fee.

Liverpool are now expected to open negotiations with Ajdarevic with a view to securing his services on a long-term contract.

Falkenbergs are loath to lose the youngster's services, but chairman Lars-Eric Nilsson is happy with the deal.

"The deal is good for Falkenbergs overall, although we're losing a player," Nilsson told Hallands Nyheter.

Is there any wonder Rafa is having to sign relative unknowns?

Trouble is - potential isn't always fulfilled.

But the only other option is to not even try.

Top man Rafa - helping to secure our future.

My thoughts exactly. It's nice to sign young talent but Liverpool FC is about the past, PRESENT and future so the manager has to consider all. I am concerned the only players I've read about being signed won't be first XI players right away, given the injuries on Tuesday I was hoping we'd have made a couple of signings to bolster a depleted squad.
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer
