Quote from Baros;- "It would certainly be a great challenge(Real). But I have a contract with Liverpool Football Club.

"I will return there after the holidays on July 19 and everything will depend on possible agreement of both clubs and my manager.

Liverpool should get Rosicky and srew Real on both counts.

If Liverpool will only get £10M for Baros, then Real can go and stuff it. He shouldn't be allowed to leave for anything less than £15M+. If merely having Baros in the team and challenging for places will keep both Owen and Cisse sharp and on their toe, it will already be worth more than that. And let's forget we will have a long season ahead and we need to rotate the team to keep all fresh come the final run in.

Unless of course RB have already made up his mind and wanted Mista... :p

Puzzles me....

If Owen is so good, why would Real choose Baros over Owen?? Knowing that Real scouts are great at spotting talents.

Why will Baros want to fight over a start in Real while he can easily claim it in lfc?

Real has yet spoken with any lfc officials. And with elections going on, who is to decide to buy who?

??? ??? :;):

Money has never been a problem for Real judging by the number of transfer records they smashed. Big name stars are more important for the Galacticos especially before their presidential election.

I don't think Owen would go for much more than £15m cos he hasn't been on the sort of form that European is used to for two season.

from sky sports.

Barcelona, meanwhile, are ready to rival their old Spanish foes Real if Baros decides he wants to leave Merseyside.

Barca have missed out on Juventus marksman David Trezeguet, and Baros is one of the names in the frame to fill their number nine shirt.

They have already brought in Henrik Larsson but are desperate to strengthen for next term and believe they need another striker.

hopefully we can resist the temptation to sell baros for 10m cos the potential in him is frightening and to get top goalscorer at a major tornament is no mean feat considerin hes only 22, also i dont think theres anyone out there with the potenital and talent that baros possesses for his age, apart from rooney and torres, to sell him would be wrong.
Chopper:Look, you're not still angry at me about the leg, are you?
Neville Bartos : Nah, forget about it.
Chopper : Because I don't know if you remember, Neville, but I had that bloody shotgun pointed at your head. I reconsidered and dropped it down to your kneecap. Remember?
