I thought it was the case that at every other big club in Europe the manager has total control over all the transfers  ???

no, quite a lot have a 'director of football', which has been introduced into the English game with dire results.

Lets sack Parry and bring one of them in then. Bes tof all three worlds. Rafa is used to working under that system, we get rid of Parry, and we have checks and balances to try and avoid another Keangate, or Dossenagate if you prefer, (we'll just do this seasons gates or I'll get accused of writing a book again)    :;): .

When it comes to selling top players do you really think the club would let them go for a smaller price than what they value that asset as ?

What a great result last night was.

It makes getting out of bed that much easier.

Well done Rafa and the players.
