we was always going to win that game, Rafa is he best CL manager there is.

Shame he can not do the same in the Prem.

Shocked to see how bad Real was, heard some good things about them in the build up to this game.

Wonder if Rafa will be their manager for the 2nd leg, now that would be a strange thing.

I should have stuck with my comfortable 1-0 win rather than going for a shaky 1-0 win. We never looked in any danger and although we didn't really trouble them that much I thought we were by far the better side.

We owned Madrid tonight, it was embarrasing for them.  Got the goal and the win we deserved.  I can honestly say that at no point during that game did I think we'd lose it.

That goal is crucial.  Makes a big difference that they have to come to anfield to beat us, rather than the onus being on us to break them down.  It should suit us.

Most importantly it's the lift we all needed after recent results :buttrock  :buttrock  :buttrock
