I cant remember ever seeing a ref give a corner then blow a whistle before the ball is struck.Ah well must'nt grumble we ahve not been great but they have not either.0-0 I reckon we can nick it!

Other than that, i think we're doing pretty well. They are playing at a much higher tempo than I expected, but after a dodgy first 25 I thnik we're controlling them pretty well.

Aurelio is giving just about as good an exhibition of full back play as you are ever likely to see.

It is within the rules I guess but the ref seems like a bit of a c0ck anyway

Me neither Baz. I remember Clive Thomas in the World Cup not giving a goal for Brazil as he reckoned he'd blew the whistle while the corenr was in mid air :laugh:

but other than that, never. They always let you take it, give it ten seconds or so then blow up. The guys obviously a class A knob Jockey.

Yossi has been the best player for us so far . Worst for me has to be arbeloa , he's given away silly freekicks and marcelo is having a field day

If he was really that injured Rafa would have taken him off I reckon. Leaving him on would only make it worse. Anyway we all thought he was injured against Everton but he was just tired from his new training regime.

it happened in the PL last weekend where the ref blew for half time before it was taken. he was well within his rights and to be fair our players were taking their time about it
