great result excellent first half ,average second half but they were the home team and they had to salvage something.crouch garcia carragher were the star men

great start, garcia played well. shame he cant do that in the prem!
reina made some good saves too.
pongolle, crouch and zenden all played well 1st half but not so good second.

Zenden corncerns me,not seen one game in our shirt where i can honestly say he has contributed anything,Crouch on the other hand very impressed with what he offered.

We were under the cosh a bit in the second half but that is always to be expected when a team are chasing a lead at this level especially away from home!A few mistakes by Hyypia but we cant and never will be perfect!Carra anad sissoko were best for me!Also i think Garcia highlighted he is far better when not playing wide.a good champs league debut by Crouch,i think Cisse will play much better off him!overall a great win and performance from our boys! Come on the Pool!

If you read the earlier posts from the Spanish lads this was exactly the way they said Betis would play - slow first half , out the traps second and fall way toward the end.

2nd half we were totally dominated but who cares we still won, josemi is sooo :censored:

its unbelievable , zenden did 1 usefull thing in setting up game but other than that he was dog :censored:

! but just imagine if we did sign joaquin dam we would surely have best midfield in world! come on rafa splash the cash 25 mil + hes worth it 2 the every penny!
