READING VS LIVERPOOL - The build up and the aftermath...

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby The Manhattan Project » Tue Dec 04, 2007 4:15 am

Yeah, I know what you are expecting.

Some pictures with stupid jokes with them right?

Well it ain't gonna happen!!!!!

You know why?

Because Liverpool Football Club have crossed the line this time.

I looked at BBC Sport and it said something I could not believe.

READING VERSUS LIVERPOOL!!!!!

WHY? ???

Why would a proud successful club like Liverpool be against reading? Something that brings millions of people joy all over the world? Reading expands minds. It exposes people to new ideas.

Did you know that 86% of the population of Manchester cannot read?

Image

I heard about a recent incident where Manchester football fans tried to create a tribute team to their favourite team Manchester United Football Club, but because they couldn't read, they wrote FOOTBALL CLUB UNITED MANCHESTER CLUB FOOTBALL!!!!

They now play in the GM Vauxhall Corsa Football Championship Premier Division Sixth Form.

Do you know the literacy rates for Africa? According to statistics from the United Nations, 10,000,000 Africans cannot read. According to further statistics, that number rises to 10,000,001 when Didier Drogba goes home for a visit.

Many of the world's great art has been inspired by the simple act of a human enjoying a good book, such as Young Cicero:

Reading to your children before bedtime has been proven to raise their IQ:

In fact, it is scientifically proven that reading increases intelligence for everyone.

Well.....almost everyone:

Same tactics again.

Attack the frick out of them.

Snort them up like Amy Winehouse and a line of coke.

If we score one, we should go for six.
