I read someone call rafa a ****wit....theres no need for that,i still believe we can win the league. We are still in the champions league and the fa cup and league cup.Rafa made a few weird dicisions today..but we need to forget about that match now and get on wit it!

Well hope rafa just concentrates on coaching the team not not mouthing off to the press about wanting more players (ie...like after istanbul)...

SO RAFA, JUST COACH THE TEAM AND MAKE SURE THEY BEAT MARSEILLE AND MANURE.

Let the owners decide if they need to invest on players in january. We already have a big squad....we need to get rid of some deadwood 1st. (as you can see i am with the owners in this).

Raj_Xedos Posted on Dec. 08 2007,19:41looks like whenever we play momo we play shocking football......

his first touch is so awfuly, he second touch has to be a slide tackle!

He did play a lovely ball over the top for kewell, so thats 1 good pass in 100 odd appearances - significantly better than Diao's ratio

Let's be fair here and not all go calling for Rafa's head. ...

Well, why shouldn't we? Yes, some players had a bad game today, but who picked them? And when Rafa saw they were playing poor, why didn't he take them off and make a better change?
And it appeared that he even gave up this game when there were still more than twenty minutes left to play by taking both our match-winners off. How could the players come back when the manager seemed to have accepted it as lost?

Thanks, i saw the match, but my doubt was if benitez change only tactics and did that for Torres had a rest or he was really injured.

bad day ...nothing went right ...awful decisions by the ref ... their penalty was debatable ... whereas we should have had two clear ones ...best now to forget about today and concentrate on marseilles........... :(  :(

Shocking tonight, some poor decisions from the 2 R's - Rafa and the Ref.
Its obvious where the manager's priorities lie, its in the Champions League. We all want to see us take the Premiership but how can that be done when you cant beat the likes of Reading for Christ sake. Then he take's off Torres, Gerrard and Carra, I bet if he was allowed 4 subs he'd have taken off Reina as well - with the spine of the team gone, I guess we are just Jellyfish or at least some players are.
I am glad with what we have achieved in Europe with Rafa but I dont think we will get the Prem title with him.
Soooooo disappointed tonight, once again hopes raised in previous few games only to be brought back down to earth with a sickening crunch.

I think he's just telling the truth.
When you saw Gerrard being taken off, you should know Rafa's already given up.
Frustrating to know but it's the truth. :(

We gave up after 70 mins ?

WTF is wrong with rafa ? I mean i am pretty much sure that wasn't a lost in spanish translation type of statement right ?

Maybe saber can shed some light on it.....is "We gave up after 70 mins" a typical manager's comment from spain ?  :p
