READING VS LIVERPOOL - The build up and the aftermath...

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

it was  bad decison from the ref but we hasvent deserved this game.  we have been poor and not played well at all.

Passing has been slack.  System and team selection was wrong from the start.  This is another game where we really needed to win as the Man Utd game can go either way. Silly points dropped today.

What excuse do u think the pro-rotation guides gonna come up with now ???

Ah well......this finally nails it. We won't win the league this year......

Well...we still have a chance of winning the champions league at least... (if we can get past marseille).

oh they will come up with some statistics mate to prove its not the fault of rotation, rafa or anything associated with rafa, it was the aliens that did it

This game has little to do with rotation or tactics. First Gerard's sub is from a knock- he has an ice pack on his leg.
But this game is about refereeing, thru and thru...

thats an excuse mate and a weak excuse, they have scored two perfectly good goals, lest not go down the 'lets blame the ref' avenue, lets blame who needs to be blamed and that the manager for underestimating the oppo and changing our formation

surely an ignoramus like you would understand that had the foul on torres in 1hf been called this game would've been totally different...

and if hitler had never been born there would have been one world war less than there was.

your point being what exactly or do you have the power to predict what would have happened in that situation. all what if, what if we missed the penalty, what if we scored the pen and then changed our tactics and sat back and they come forward and score, what if..... what if...... what if...... etc etc etc

i think the ignoramus remark would be better aimed at you mate

Great. Now I dare anyone to say truthfully that they still believe we will win the league.

agree with peewee only the Manager is to blame.......... will probably get crucified for saying it but after watching this on Setanta there was only going to be one result........... READING for fooks sake they make the bitters look good!

Simple analysis; Wrong Team Selection, Wrong Tactics.

Lets hope he gets it right this forthcoming week against Marseille........ The Scum game is now irrelevent, if your not prepared to beat :censored: whats the point in beating them!

Had we a bit of luck with refereeing decisions, we might not have been in this state. That said, we were :censored: and Rafa was wrong with his tactics and formation.

Bad day, dodgy selection, i would much rather the wingers play when we have a 4-3-3 set up. Team passed poorly, but it stll matters that the ref gave a non pen, and didn't give us a nailed on one.

I turned the game off, could not watch that anymore.  We are 10 points behind Arsenal now.  Well at least we had a good unbeaten run.

Shocking...my two pence worth:

If he plays this formation (which has worked before) Crouch should not start as you need to fiarly pacy player to drift onto the wings.

There should not be 2 holding midfielders on aswell as Gerrard.

Stop this :censored: long ball game nonsence it looks :censored:.

We seem to end up passing the ball to the back four and Reina weeeey to often indicating we just are not creating enough space or we just ar not creative enough.

Finally....I used to be a big sissoko fan but this is getting silly now.

stupid remark, people put the club first and i personally take no pleasure in dropping three points just to score brownie points over some no marks, engage brain then speak mate.

however if some idiots still refuse to see we are right then they will have to be prompted, and again the use of the fickle is in the wrong context but never mind, i know you did that for effect
