If he goes, we can kiss goodbye to all the progress we've made.

Please stay Rafa - I know you won't ever read this, but even still.

You are the best manager in the World, and the only current coach able to put our club back to where we belong. :(

21 points of the pace last season, not really progress is it?

same as anyone else, the club is bigger than the individual, if he goes we move on

I think Rick Parry should go.

Personally, I think he's closer to re-signing than resigning...

I don't see a big yellow bar with "BENITEZ TO RESIGN ON MONDAY" scrolling across the screen on Sky Sports News.

So Manhattan sticks with the "this is bollox" position.

I wouldnt be to @rsed TBH, forget the CL he is far to defensive minded for my liking.
There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

I can confirm this.

While in the eastern Spanish coast, Rafa clearly saw that he was going to join Hercules de ALicante

New stadiums? fúck it -- he said, we don't need cover where it doesn't rain.

After talking with the local football legend

Football legend.

He realised that he would get on with him much better than with Hansen and  Smith. "He's also a ex player" Rafa said, "but since he didn't win anything at least now he hasn't envy of someone else winning titles" He snapped.

I'll keep you posted.

Rafa said he was also going to take Alonso with him, Alonso does much work that goes unnoticed, bricklaying and plastering being his speciality. :D

I read this too on the football rumours website. The site is full of absolute rubbish. 90% of posts begin with - my aunty works as a cleaner at... my uncle is best friends with... my brother is the binman at Anfield, he was chatting to George Gillett and he told him...

We surely cannot be taking football rumours as a reliable source???  :)
