I would have loved it if Hicks and Gillett called Everton a small club.

Gillett said something better he called Everton his evil twin, and would get lynched if he even mentioned them :D

In my opinion rafa didnt' slip up when he called everton a "small team"...cos' thats exactly what they are, and have been for the past 2/3 decades. They have been living in a dream world for to long now, small club...with small ambitions...their only goal in life is beating us in derby games...their "cup final" if you like.Itstime those bitter twisted b@stards woke up and realise they will never be able to match our history or sucesses on the field...or the amount of trophies we have...and will continue to win. Their just "a small team from kirkby".

I can't understand why they are outraged. They name theirselves the "People's club" should I be outraged? what's LFC then? the animal's club?!

I'm happy that Rafa found some words to irritate them. :) They could not irritate us whatever they called us.

When Arteta came to RS, he played with Alonso for 4 weeks, and even a game against Everton in their small stadium 2-2.
In that game Rafa was in the Everton stadium and that was the day he reached to an agreement with Alonso.

I can remember perfectly how Arteta tried to calm down the local supporters about Alonso's departure saying that "LFC is a team  that any player would like to play for". Let's see if I can find the quotes, it's in the papers.

Coast breeze but the hair won't move. It's concrete made. I have never seen his hair move.

And I tell you a secret : He paint a little baldness he has with black paint!! you can see this in the stadium if you look well! Honest!!

Both Arteta and Alonso have been in Real Sociedad. The former, failed to succeed, the latter was a legend.

And it happened what's usual in those cases. The succesful player went to a big club, and the one who didn't succeed to a small club. I haven't made up this football rules. It works that way!

It's official: Mikel Arteta is now known as "feckin Barbies hubby Ken boot polish hairdo kunt."  Someone call the "People's Club" and get them to adjust their programs.  Shouldn't be too much trouble with a print run of 43! :D
