All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

After browsing the Spanish list, the most interesting player I find is Fernando Morientes.

So, I don't know if you'll be bothered to check the others  :D

Ya, and a goalkeeper by the name of Jerzy Dudek.

Lets bring back Morientes and Dudek together with the aforementioned Cisse and Owen.

Ya RIGHT!!! :D

TOMAS ROSICKY
RICARDO QUARESMA
DANIEL STURRIDGE
CARLOS TEVEZ
AMR ZAKI
FABIO CANNAVARO

THESE PLAYERS WOULD ALL BE WORTH A LOOK IMO IF WE CAN GET THEM FOR NOTHING

From that list I like Cannavaro (and Tevez), to be honest, but I heard him he was on the mood of coming back to Italy.

You wouldnt be able to get Tevez, Quaresma or Zaki for nothing, those three are coming to the end of loan deals (as far as im aware) but would still need to be bought.

Sturridge is a good shout though, I havent seen him play that much but he looks decent, english,  is meant to be a 'hot prospect' and most definately FREE.

Exactly. The guy's a twat. Spends more time on his feckin hair, than on the game.

Waste of space.

There's no way in a million years I'd have that fool back.

Do you think Santi Corzola would fancy a move to us Sabes  :;):

he is recovering from a pretty bad leg break I think.

But I don't think that Villareal are going to qualify for the CL, so that could be a reason for coming to LFC.  Wouldn't mind a double swoop for him and Rossi

BTW, Rossi, the American born Italian international that plays in Spain would count as an English player for UEFA's quota because of his time at United

Disagree. Totally.

I remember reading in 'A Season on the Brink' that according to Rafa, Cisse lacked basic footballing knowledge on some things and he was quite shocked.

Easy one this, name players in rafas squad who match that description.

Cisse suffered from 2 horrendous injuries. When he was fit he was played out of position and sparingly. People laugh at the goals he scored in the super cup but that was an occasion he was played in his natural position. And the facts are, he scored. Between injuries and rafas chosen role for him in the squad, he didnt have much of chance did he?
