I do believe it was time for him to move on but this is still a very sad day.  I have great respect for Rafa as a manager and I always believed he had the best interests of the club at heart.  He clearly loved the supporters and the city and gave his all for the club.  He gave us so many great moments during his time and helped make us an absolute force in Europe once more.  I'm gutted he wasn't able to build on the great start he had and wish him all the best at Inter or wherever he ends up.  A top manager and a top gent.  Thanks for everything Rafa.

Sorry but in what way did he clearly love the supporters, club or city?
Is it because he said he did, words are cheap my friend.
If he accepts a reduced compensation package then I will believe it, if he screws the club for the full amount then I won't.

I don't think we'll hear Rafa's side of the story any time soon.  I would expect the deal to include Rafa keeping his mouth shut for a good few years, or he loses whatever cash he has walked away with.

people talk about EPL and it seems liverpool was winning many of them the years before rafa arrived...some people are not realistic at all...the last season was very bad, poor, but you have to keep your feet on the floor, there are many teams who have more economic power than liverpool has.not just 1 or 2 actually.

If he could have stuck to coaching instead of getting involved in media games.
If he would have seen where he was making obvious mistakes.
If he would have changed his attitude and accepted responsibility it wouldnt have come to this.
I am gutted he wouldnt or couldnt see what was in front of him because he could have been one of the best
