i'm pretty certain it was racist abuse, because a number of liverpool fans have gone to the club/police to give statements. Lots of people heard it.

And on the subject of Suarez, i'd just repeat that the club got it very, very wrong. Kenny shouldn't have given into a knee jerk decision and let the lads all wear suarez t-shirts. It was a stupid thing to do and left him looking daft and out of touch with the modern game.

Your comparison sucks though. Also, I've been properly insulted once by no other than you on this forum. Should I call the mods now to ban you? No, of course not, cos it's a focking forum and I'm not a whiner to get insulted by anything that people say. It's just how normal life functions, we don't take legal action in real life against everyone who insults us, do we?

other reports on twitter are asking if the club will be charged by the FA for not controlling its fans and this could see Liverpool fans banned from the next fa cup game.

1. Maypax stated that we should buy Agbonlahor and Bent which IMO means that if we do that we don't look like racists. Common sense says that that was a joke.
2. Benny says that it's a stupid statement.
3. Maypax calls him a "white kunt", a statement which has a lot of similarities with two cases that happened including football players John Terry in one case and Luis Suarez in the other. People tend to joke on such matters (usually situations which include celebrities). Maypax used this line as a sort of a funny "comeback" to Benny's remarks on Maypax's statement that we should buy Bent and Agbonlahor. That's why I believe that Maypax was trying to make a joke.

Also, I would like to ask, if Maypax only said "kunt" and not "white kunt" would he still be banned?

As for John Terry, you are aware the FA passed his case to the Crown Prosecution Service, John Terry most likely will be charged with racial abuse. How the hell is that similar here, are you suggesting the Terry case is also blown out of proportion and a joke?

Finally if he only used "c u n t" he would not of been banned, rightly. I'm all for venting frustration even if it is throwing an insult at someone, the moment you bring race into the insult you trivialise racism. Which in my opinion is unacceptable.

FYI regarding the apparent risk of the club being punished with expulsion from the club - its 100% bollox. The FA would have to invent a new rule.

Each season all clubs sign upto a charter of rule that agree to abide by, the only reference to racism is as follows -


20 Each Affiliated Association, Competition and Club shall be responsible for ensuring:

(a) that its directors, players, offi  cials, employees, servants, representatives, spectators, and all persons purporting to be its supporters or followers, conduct themselves in an orderly fashion and refrain from any one or combination of the following: racist, violent, threatening, abusive, obscene or provocative behaviour, conduct or language whilst attending at or taking part in a Match in which it is involved, whether on its own ground or elsewhere; and

(b) that no spectators or unauthorised persons are permitted to encroach onto the pitch area, save for reasons of crowd safety, or to throw missiles, bottles or other potentially harmful or dangerous objects at or on to the pitch.

21 Each Club is expected to provide a private way from the playing area to dressing room wherever this is practicable.

22 Any Affiliated Association, Competition or Club which fails eff ectively to discharge its said responsibility in any respect whatsoever shall be guilty of Misconduct. It shall be a defence in respect of charges against a Club for Misconduct by spectators and all persons purporting to be supporters or followers of the Club, if it can show that all events, incidents or occurrences complained of were the result of circumstances over which it had no control, or for reasons of crowd safety, and that its responsible offi  cers or agents had used all due diligence to ensure that its said responsibility was discharged.

23 Any individual referred to in Rule E20 above may be removed from any ground, and such force used as may be necessary for the purpose of effecting such removal.

FFS man, it has similarities with Suarez's case because an alleged racial abusing is involved. It has even more similarities with Terry's case because he use similar words. When things like this happen people tend to ironically joke on these stuff. Christ, even when famous people die some people joke about it. I'm sure Maypax thought that Benny wouldn't be insulted by such a joke. What kind of a white man gets insulted by being called "white" anyway? I don't know about black people but for me it's just stupid to be insulted if anyone called you white. Being called a kunt though is somewhat insulting. Like I said you people go too far with this racist sh!t and it doesn't make sense anymore. Sorry, but I can't find it logical that being called "white" is more insulting than being called a "kunt".

Can't be ar'sed absorbing your less than 115 page statement but I'm perplexed by your assertion that my "Macedonian Bar" scenario is a "stupid comparison". I thought we were talking about insults and how they are received and reacted too, maybe my scenario is something you don't wish to address ?.

If Maypax had not included a racial reference in his post he would not have been red carded. Maybe like Suarez it's a cultural thing and he's been misunderstood ?
