Question about the new champions league shirt

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby Anfield rapper » Sat Dec 31, 2005 11:16 am

I had a champions league shirt for crimbo off my girlfriend which she bought off ebay. The shirt was slightly too small for me so i decided with her permission to try and sell it back on ebay get money for it and buy a larger size on ebay.

My question is on the genuine shirts, are the CHAMPIONS and 5 TIMES patches a woven patch or are they made of plastic similar to the LIVERPOOL badge. On mine they are the same material as the Liverpool badge, but i have seen some on ebay that look like a woven patch. With all the fakes that are going around i just want to be sure before i try and sell it.

I got the same one AnfieldRapper.

Mine came with the offical Liverpool Tags (same as offical club shop). The Gerrard 8 Lettering, and the same rubbery chapions league patchs. If you look on the bottom left conner of the shirt, mine has a little patch that says Offical Team Merchandise.

Do you know how much she paid for your shirt?

"Offical" is misspelt.

I don't quite agree with the saying that the 5-times winners patch and the UEFA Champions 2004/05 patch are the same plastic material as the club crest. These patches are made of velveteen (and so did the star-ball patch of previous season's Champions League) by Lextra Fuseon and distributed by Chris Kay Company.
