Back to the game and you can almost smell the anticipation and expectation around the team at present. The last 2 games have lifted the whole club and in Mascherano I believe we have awakened an obvious talrent. I was impressed watching him on Saturday and tonight he was superb.

Mascherano if we had have paid 20 million for him the start of the season nearly every Liverpool fan would have his name on the back of his shirt cause it sounds a bit fancy
Most of Europe and the prem where fuming when the Hammers signed him and Tevez, all we need now is his mate Carlos to join us 
1.5 million pound for Masch with an option to buy after 18 months I gotta a feeling this lad will be worth every penny.
Last two games he has been superb and at 22 what more can you ask.
We have a new Kaizer in our ranks.

Yep, they're cúnts, we all know it but christ, Villa on a Monday night in the battle for 6th or PSV away on the Tuesday in the 1/4 Final of the Champions League?

You just know what's going to happen don't you come May? And don't anyone fúcking dare say otherwise because I will, I truly will, eat your fúcking face off.

I want Everton to be good, like really good, not in years to come, I want it now, I'm bored of Everton, excite me Everton for I am so tired of living off an FA Cup win 12 years ago.

Very deserving win indeed. Absolutely efficient and Finnan cross is sheer quality. Pick his spot and timing to push forward was excellent. Not to mention Mascherano. First time I saw him play as I missed all his previous games. He was everywhere breaking up plays and pass the ball well. Alonso was much quieter in that respect but with both Alonso and Mascherano, other defence is even stronger. Gerrard can concentrate on going forward and give them couple of matches and I'm sure they will get even better. Excellent result and was worth waking up in the middle of the night to watch this game. :

Very Impressive Performance.

We must maintain our confidence and professionalism in the 2nd leg because even though its highly likely we're through to to the semi finals, anything can happen. PSV are a very good team and are capable of scoring goals. Remember what happened when we faced Galatasaray at home? we conceded three in a short space of time and Remember what happened in the CL Final? we scored 3 in a short space of time

Anyway Its likely we're through and I feel we'll be facing Valencia in the semi's.

Hope we can make it to the Athens.

Mascherano solid as I always knew he'd be. Crouch just too tall for a defense bereft of Alex. Fabio Aurélio was playing well until gods know what happened to his ankle. Riise with a brilliant strike, Gerrard with a great positioned header.

Liverpool are favourites for the cup, in my opinion. Great football display.

What a result for us. A clear message to the rest of Europe that we can beat teams home and away. Just spoke to a mate who's a Man U fan and he is bricking it that they get to the final and face us.
