I honestly think Preston will give a good account of themselves tomorrow. We have struggled againt championship opposition in many of the cup compititions in the past few seasons ie. Barnsley and Burnley
Im gonna go for PNE 1-3 Liverpool....I think that if we can keep the Deepdale crowd quiet and get on top early on in the game then we can run out comfortably.
Would be nice to see Torres given 10-15 minutes on the field as well. Come On Redmen!! :D

I must confess given the fact that we are top of the league, I don't really care about the FA Cup. I wouldn't personally care if Rafa changes the whole eleven, puts Leon in goal, Stu up front and Zarababe in defence. The result as far as I'm concerned is an irrelevance, and as such the most important thing IMHO is that nobody gets injured.

I want him to put out a strong team, including Gerrard just to make him feel better about the situation he's in.  It may not seem like a big deal or some may think he's big enough to get through it anyway but I think it's very important that he plays and plays well, the better the team the better his chances are at doing just that.  Anyway it looks like he will do this so good job Rafa!

Not when Rafa's picking the team you're not. You'll probably find yourself at left back. If you play well, you'll keep your spot for the next match, at right wing :D .

I'd prefer only a sprinkling of youth players who deserve a shot. If was selected and they change the entire first 11 then it just a reserves game with a bigger crowd. If guys like Gerrard, Torres and Carra play though and only 3 or 4 youth players it means so much more.

For me:

Darby--- Carra--- Agger--- Insua
-------Lucas-- Mash/Alonso-----
--Hammil----Gerrard----El Zhar--
-------------Torres-------------

N'gog
Benayoun
Babel
Riera
Hyypia
Plessis
Dossena

I'd like to see Gerrard subbed for Riera at half time and Riera play att mid. Torres for N'gog at half time as well. I think Riera would be a great in that role, he seems very creative.

yeah good line up would like to see plessis given a run in to and instead of carragher would give skrtel a game. Is he match fit by the way?

Forgot Skrtle. He needs a run out so I would start him instead of Carra who can have a rest.

After all the :censored: N'gog & Lucas copped they have both put in some good performances. I'm excited to see if Lucas can back up last games performance and also how N'gog goes as well.

Upon reflection I would like Benayoun to start on the right and Hammil on the left. Benayoun has been very very good these last few matches, better than Kuyt, and deserves a shot at making that right wing his own. Once Torres comes back I hope Rafa gives Benayoun a chance and doesn't just automatically select Kuyt.
